Sold a Single Family home in 2011 in Edisto Island, SC.
I've employed and consulted with at least eight realtors over the past few years, and Marie has been decidedly the best. My experience in general has been poor: of the eight, I would only recommend one besides Marie (and she works in a different market). Working with Marie, though, has been an excellent experience. She's intelligent, knowledgeable, and very on top of things - I can't think of any time that she hasn't returned a phone call or an email the same day. She has a good grasp of market economics and remains very personable and professional even when presented with difficulties. It's difficult to suggest how she could get better at her job.

Marie was our agent when we sold a house at Edisto. Her hard work and market savy
Enabled us to get top dollar.
Marie handled a tax appeal to Colleton County Assessor's office that resulted in a 35%
Reduction in our property tax.

Marie has been my agent on a number of purchases and sales over the last 15 years. She is most knowledgable not only of her profession but also the area where she is located, Edisto Island , South Carolina. She has all the skills you need whether buying or selling and of all the realtors I have dealt with, (I have bought and sold over 25 properties in the last 30 years) , she is tops. If you should need a realtor at Edisto, I certainly recommend Marie.

Listed, but didn't sell my home in 2011.
Marie listed a lot for my family but, in this economy, we have not as yet sold it. She has diligently worked to market it at the listed price and we feel that it won't be long before we have a sale. She has kept us informed every step of the way and I feel very confident in her abilities. Her knowledge of the area is unsurpassed and I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in buying or selling a house or property.

Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $200K in Edisto Island, SC.
Marie sold our house when others failed. She knows her island like no one else. The house had been listed for an extended period of time with not even a showing. Marie got people in there and ultimately SOLD it. Our favorite qualities are her efficiency and 'to the point' nature. We were always up to the minute on the process. We never had to hunt her down to get information like we had with other agents. She was great about giving us notice for our home to be shown. Now that we are looking for another home on Edisto we are working with Marie again. I am happy to have her expertise and have no doubts in her abilites to negotiate in our favor.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Edisto Island, SC.
I recently purchased property at Edisto Beach through Marie Bost. The transaction was prompt and seamless. Marie answers her phone or returns calls same day. She follows up but is never overbearing. OA, I found her to be professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with during and after the sale.
I have since referred her to friends, two of which also made purchases with the same results. Since our purchase I have called on Marie several times for matters of beach property ownership, she is always cordial and provides solid advice.

Bought a home in 2012.
Marie is the most experienced "street savvy" broker I've met. She happened to be teh listing agent on the property I wanted to buy. As the buyer I was, at first, unsure how this would work out. It worked out perfectly. Got a great value on a beachfront property- a dream come true! I would highly recommend Marie to anyone buying property on Edisto Island.
