Closed refinance loan.

Summary:

Emmett was very helpful with our refinance. He replied to emails quickly, including nights and weekends. Our appraisal came out far below what we (and our neighbors and several real estate agents) believed the house was worth, and Emmett immediately filed a comprehensive dispute on our behalf. When it became apparent the appraisal would stand, Emmett quickly found an alternate lender with the same terms as he originally quoted us. We had to do a second appraisal (much higher value this time), and then the loan closed quickly and painlessly. Emmett split the cost of the 2nd appraisal with us and his check arrived the day after we signed the papers. Overall, Emmett was responsive and honest, and the loan would have closed very quickly if not for the initial appraisal issue.…More Less
