Bought a home in 2014.
My wife and I relocated to NM from the East coast and did a lot of preliminary reconnaissance of the area online so that we could focus on high-priority properties during our scheduled house hunting trip. Rey was extremely responsive in evaluating our short-list of properties while suggesting alternatives that escaped our attention. He is an East Mountain resident and savvy in his knowledge of builders, water/land usage and resources in the area. Furthermore, we found his insight toward negotiating with the seller to be right on. There were no surprises in the final settlement.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 in Edgewood, NM.
Rey did an excellent job in showcasing the house in the net. The only place he may have dropped the ball was on contact after closing. I had to call the title company to find out if the property closed since I was out of state. It was a quick sell and some of the corrections could not be completed prior to closing. Rey was supposed to take care of this, again no contact. Yes I would use and recommend Rey again, service after the sale is his weak point.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Edgewood, NM.
He was professional and knowledgeable on anything we asked. He went above and beyond what I would have expected. This was my first home buying experience through a realtor and I honestly don't know if we would have been able to close with out Rey. I recommend giving this man a call if your ever in need of a realtor you won't regret it.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 in Stardust Skies Park, Albuquerque, NM.
Rey is a fantastic realtor. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, the market, and home construction. His expertise was invaluable: he helped us choose the right home at the right price. He even helped us make renovation decisions that would increase the home's future sales price. Rey is patient and was very understanding of our needs. He also has tremendous integrity. We recommend him highly.

THE VERY BEST IN THE AREA! I cannot say enough good things about Rey Fulwiler. Here's the bottom line up front in case you don't want to read the entire review - Rey knows Albuquerque and especially the East Mountains very well. You can't go wrong with his local knowledge, connections and keen insight into the entire real estate transaction process. His commanding knowledge of the process from start to finish will ensure that you make a smart purchase or sale and you will walk away feeling good. For background, we moved to the East Mountains from the San Antonio, Texas area. My wife and I are both Federal employees and I am a former active duty military officer and attorney. I made two scouting trips to the East Mountains on my own and on that second trip a friend introduced me to Rey. Rey took time out of his busy Saturday evening to show me a few homes on the spot. I had interviewed and met one realtor previously in the same trip but after meeting and speaking with Rey, I felt confident that he would be a great asset for our home purchase. I was right. Rey tirelessly worked with us on weekends when we could travel to Albuquerque to view homes. We viewed several homes in Placitas, Albuquerque and then many homes in the East Mountains. We spent several hours together spanning several weekends. We truly felt like Rey had our back and best interests in mind when we viewed homes. We've seen realtors who will push clients toward a house to make the sale but I never felt like that from Rey for one minute. He was patient and helped us sort through dozens of MLS listings and those that we found off of the internet. His local knowledge was especially useful in sorting through properties as he could rule out some properties right away since he knew the neighborhood and in many cases, knew the exact house in question. After making a few offers on homes, Rey showed us our now current residence. Within 30 seconds of walking in, I knew it was right for us. In fact, I knew it was "the" house. I called my wife and she asked for the opinions of both Rey and I. Rey gave her an honest, straight forward assessment without a bunch of fluff. Subsequently, we placed an offer and it was accepted. Since our loan was VA and we used an out of state broker, our deal was more complicated than most. However, Rey never missed a beat and took the ball and ran with it. He guided us through the home inspections (radon, mold, wood destroying insects, etc) with expertise and even helped iron out the deal when we discovered a few defects in the property. Rey provided his insight and helped us negotiate the right deal at the right price. As an attorney and former Army officer, I appreciated Rey's attention to detail, his "can do" customer service attitude and his opinion on price/value. Even with poor market conditions for realtors, Rey was always patient, always enthusiastic and showed unwavering optimism. We could go on and on about our positive experience but in short, we were extremely pleased with Rey from start to finish. Moving across the country and uprooting a family is not easy but Rey was there to support us even after the sale. We not only consider him THE realtor to go to but we also consider him a friend now too. We are confident that you will have an extremely positive experience should you choose Rey for your real estate needs. I'm sure there are other good realtors in this area but without question, Rey is the very best. Once you get a chance to meet Rey and view a few homes, you will understand that we have not overstated his talents.
