Greg knows his staff, Myrtle Beach and his clients. We were so impressed with his professional manner, knowledge and warmth. He knew what agent would be good to work with us and it was a perfect match! He is interested in his clients no matter what they are searching for-be it a million dollar home or a small condo. I would refer him to anyone without hesitation. I have had experience with Agents in North Carolina, Tennessee and South Carolina and this is the best group I have worked with!!

Bought a home in 2011.
We were first time home buyers and Greg along with his team was not only extremely patient but also very professional from start to finish. He met with my husband and I to narrow down a few neighborhoods we liked by asking BOTH of us questions about our likes and needs in a new home. He was very motivated to find us what we were looking for. When we found the home for us, we realized it was a short sale. Greg was very up front as to what kind of timeline we could expect from a short sale and cautioned us not to become emotionally-attached. We appreciated his honesty! When we found out we got the house, we attributed the success to Greg and his team for their diligence. They worked very fast to get the deal closed while also holding our hand thru the process. Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $925K in North Myrtle Beach, SC.
Unfortunately, my husband and my experience with Greg was a disappointment. He did not know the area that our house was listed in nor did he take the time to know. Greg would call us to give him info on things that were already on the listing agreement. We listed with him because of his dynamic sells agent. After she left, his team seemed to be short handed. We had to let perspective buyers and their agent into our house, because he lived too far away to be bothered. Also, we asked that our lockbox be removed and an agent from Greg's office accompany all showings. This was not done. Our house was listed on his web page as sold before it was closed. He sent out his monthly flyer from his website with that info on it. We felt he did very little to promote our house and when it did sell, it was not due to any effort on his part.

Our summation was that he had little interest in us after he listed our house. He was too busy with other listings to tend to details. We would not use him again or recommend him.

Real estate sales can be a roller coaster ride. In 2012, out of the ~200 homes listed in the 900k-1 million price range, only 4 homes a month were selling each month. The ones that sold were the best value to the buyer. Selling a property during this time was a difficult process. I was happy to get the job done for these clients and felt that my staff went above and beyond this client's requests.

I've know Greg Sisson for 7 years and he's sold two of my homes and helped me buy one. The last transaction, I moved out of one home and into the other home in one day. Greg has helped me with all of my real estate transactions over the past 15 years and continues to impress me. Greg is from the Myrtle Beach area and has deep roots here so he knows the area, school districts,and the pros and cons of each area better than most. Many agents tell you what they read or hear. Greg grew up here so he cares about the area and knows it inside and out. With this home, I began talking to Greg about a year ago. He knew I was not ready to sell then but gave me comps for the area and over the next year personally came out and walked the house with me, giving me suggestions on what little things I could do to make it "show ready" when it was time. Over the year as I was moving and doing things to the home Greg stayed in touch and kept me up to speed on market conditions. When we listed it, we knew the timing was good and priced right in line with the comparable houses in the neighborhood. We had a very strong offer in 48 hours. Greg was on the phone with me and the buyers agent on Mother's day, while traveling with his family. That's dedication. It meant a great deal to me that the offer on my home was that important to him. The sale went perfectly and I am thrilled with the outcome. I got what I told Greg I wanted / needed and his staff was very helpful throughout the entire closing process. Greg and his team are truly the best out there.
