Janice Rosenberg just completed the sale of my house today and I can’t speak more highly of her and her team in the process. Some of the things that really stood out to me were, as follows: She did a very thorough market assessment prior to our initial meeting. Because my house was unusual for the neighborhood, she went beyond the immediate geographic area to look for more similar houses. She had reasonable recommendations about what work should be done in advance, recommended a home inspection before I put it on the market and connected me with an inspector, helped me sort through the inspection and what I should address, and was very helpful not only in identifying workmen for various work but even arranging for some of the work to be done. She aggressively marketed my home. The photographs that went into the color brochure and online were very nicely done. She has many connections through her long Triangle experience and told others about my home. When potential buyers liked it but had a specific barrier (e.g. we would want a bathroom in the basement), she had a contractor come in to give an estimate and then communicated that information to the potential buyer, as well as putting up a very professional sign in the basement regarding costs of adding a bathroom. She regularly followed up with all agents who showed the house. When I did get an acceptable offer, she did a great job of navigating me through the whole negotiation and closing process, helping me decide what was reasonable, and getting the job done, to the extent of signing the papers for me today at closing and getting my check deposited at my bank! For someone with our busy schedules, or for you as you may be out of state while your home is on the market, this kind of service is so critical. I also know others who have worked with Janice and been equally satisfied.
