Chip initially showed interest in selling my home in our first conversation. After that he would not return phone calls or emails. very poor business etiguecate. I would not recommend him as an agent.

05/16/2013 - user0255550Listed, but didn't sell my Single Family home in 2012 in Liverpool, NY.
I own a beautiful home in Liverpool, NY. In the four months I hired this person to sell my property, I did not get a single offer. He was vey unprofessional, not returning phone calls for several days, and thus receives a poor for responsiveness. His local knowledge is poor, as he had me list my home at a much higher price than it should have been. He did not consider comps. His process expertise is also poor since he lacked the foresight to hold an adequate number of open houses and he also lacked motivation. He held only one open house in the four months he was hired, before I fired him. He failed to negotiate a deal with anybody during my open house, nor with anybody who phoned with interest in my home.
This is the problem people, you only hear about his positive sales in his commercials or claims, but not the negatives. The other problem is he takes on too many homes, which prevents him from giving you the personal attention you need to sell your property. I suggest you stay away from this guy.…MoreLess

01/03/2013 - user8774528Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $200K in Bridgeport, NY.
Chip is a "go to" guy, my first impression of him I feel was very accurate. Within a week of the initial listing I had a purchase offer, and despite a very difficult negotiation process with an incredibly difficult buyer... He got the job done.

Add personality to your profile! Tell the community about yourself, your home, and your profession.
I was literally born into business. My family has been in business in Central New York since the late 1800's. I have been surrounded by business strategies and sales since I was born. I am passionate about helping our community develop and grow. I am in business and the business I'm in is REAL ESTATE.
I am hooked on gaining more knowledge about the industry on a global level, so I can best help my clients. When I am not coming up with new ways to market our clients properties, I am traveling across the country attending conferences and events to gain more information and to contribute my ideas on the business systems for real estate.
I have a wife and three kids who fill up my time and life outside of real estate. I try to dedicate my weekends to them as much as possible (which can be difficult in this indusrty). We play a lot of sports (skiing, tennis, golf, boating...) and support our local restaurants. Life is good.
I love working with Hodgkins & Associates because it is a great group of professional people who are not afraid to think outside of the box while still maintaining the enthusiasm and perseverance that is necessary in the real estate business.
