Holly (Johnson) Connaker has always called the Brainerd Lakes Area "home". After many successful years selling optical networking technology and launching life-saving, blockbuster pharmaceutical products, Holly decided it was time for a new challenge and Real Estate was her vehicle of choice. She began her real estate career working for a successful real estate broker in the Twin Cities and returned to the Brainerd Lakes Area to carve out her own niche and raise her family in a community that she loves.
Customer service and attention to detail have always come easy for Holly. Growing up on a family-owned resort has enabled Holly to truly understand the value of real estate. At a young age Holly was introduced to various real estate transactions from Contract for Deed to various buyers financing. She successfully assisted in the sale of her first property at a very young age. "Real estate has always been in my blood", says Holly. "I'm very excited to bring my professional skills to the Brainerd Lakes Area. I take pride in helping people achieve the American Dream"
Education and professionalism are important aspects to a client's real estate experience, which is another area in which Holly shines. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Psychology from William Woods University, a private women's college. She has always been an over achiever and completed her degree in 3 � years. She also has extensive training in the areas of sales, negotiating, conflict management and marketing through her 10-year tenure in Corporate America. Holly continues to increase her real estate knowledge with additional courses through the Greater Lakes Area Association of REALTORS�, of which she is a member, and constant market analysis of the area. Holly is an active member of Sertoma (Rookie of the Year 2005-2006), MN Builders Association, Lake Country Connections BNI, Greater Lakes Area REALTORS Association (President & Board of Directors) and the Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. Holly was also selected "2009 Greater Lakes Association REALTOR of the Year".
On a personal note, Holly enjoys spending time with her husband, Dave and their children, Cullen & Gavin. When she isn't chasing after her daring little ones, she also enjoys her horses, as she is an avid equestrian. For the past 20 years, Holly has enjoyed competing in Arabian horse shows at the National level. She has won many championships and is a member and committee chair for the MN Arabian Horse Breeders.
