Both a short sale and a foreclosure will damage your credit but generally speaking a short sale is less damaging in terms of time before you can purchase another home again. Most of the time a person who has done a short sale will not be able to buy a home for 2-3 years. Jim you are probably syndicating your listings from more than one source and that is why it is showing up twice.

I am not in your area so I am not able to help you out but I find it curious how people have this line of thinking when it comes to Real Estate?Why is it that everyone loves to use the doctor that has performed hundreds of successful surgeries. The lawyer that has an outstanding track record ect. Yet when it comes to Real Estate the agent that clearly is doing something well is looked down upon as going to be too busy? Says WHO?? There are plenty of outstanding agents that have systems in place that allow them to work with many clients and have a very long list of sales.I would interview the person. There is usually a reason that an agent has no business. Don't go with someone because you think they will have all the time to invest in you. You will end up feeling not too special at all!

Bev & Tom,I just noticed your question. I would not worry about the information being that accurate. Even with 100% correct data the market values can be off tremendously both low and high in the Zillow site. Bill Gassett

The question and answer section is for realtors like myself to answer or even your neighbors, if they can answer. The zestimates that they give can be off by more than 30% (high or low). It make sense to consult a real estate professional if you would like to know the value of your home.

The zestimate values in the site constantly change form month to month. The additions you have made to your home are not reflected yet in the value of the property. It takes a while for zillow to recogize the changes. According to the site it will eventually update the value based on the improvements you have made.
