We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in Lakewood, Village of Lakewood, IL 60014
I contacted Jackie Reed last week. She said she'd get back to me and never did. She told me a house wasn't on the market yet and I saw in the paper today that it had been in foreclosure and was sold. I don't think she was interested in my business. I called someone else who took me to see other homes.

Sorry about your experience. I'm not sure exactly which home you are referring to, but it is probably one that was sold in a sheriff's sale that went back to the bank, and was/still not available to view. You will see it come up in the next few months on the MLS as it has to go through the foreclosure proceedings when it is available on the market. I know I look up every foreclosure that a prospect inquires on, and if I told you it wasn't on the market yet, then it wasn't available to view. You can also verify this with your current Realtor. Sorry if I didn't get back to you when promised. I had a lot going on last week.
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $250K in Lake In The Hills, IL.
When my husband and I decided we needed to buy a house in the Northwest suburbs, one of the aspects of house hunting we dreaded the most was finding a good realtor. Past experience suggested many seemed so intent on the sale it was difficult to get all the information we needed to make a sound decision--much less navigate through the complexities of moving from out of state.
Jackie redefined our expectations of what a realtor could and should do. Professional and personable from day one, Jackie asked all the right questions to better understand our needs, resources and lifestyle. She did an amazing job securing the information we requested, drawing on an impressive network of professionals to assist us, from the home inspector to the attorney.
Jackie's expertise was visible in the astute advice and guidance she provided us as we negotiated a sale of some complexity. She kept us closely in the loop during the negotiations between brokers and attorneys, always very responsive to our questions and concerns. Overall, we credit Jackie with giving us a remarkably smooth home purchasing experience and would highly recommend her to anyone. She is a knowledgeable and trustworthy escort through what most of us find an arduous process--and is truly a pleasure to work with.
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $225K in Crystal Lake, IL.
We have three children 5 and under that came with us to each viewing. Not only was she patient, but she took the time to play with our kids as if they were her own. We love our new home! Thanks Jackie!
Bought a home in 2014 in Elk Grove Village, IL 60008.
Jackie was always friendly and professional. It took us several years to find the right home, but she was very patient and never made us feel like we were wasting her time. Jackie was so helpful every step of the way in our search, and then in completing a successful home closing as well. She was a pleasure to work with.
Bought a Multi Family home in 2014 for approximately $200K in Lake In The Hills, IL.
Not only did Jackie sell my house, she also helped me buy the house of my dreams! Jackie was always available when there was a house I wanted to look at---even at last minute. All my questions were answered, and she took the time to explain all aspects of selling/buying a home. I always had more questions, and called her so often!! She was always very prompt with return calls/txt messages. She often rearranged her schedule to accommodate my schedule. If you are in need of a realtor, Jackie Reed is the best!!
The previous review is not an accurate depiction of the experience I had when purchasing a home with Jackie as my realtor. Jackie was extremely responsive to calls, e-mails, and texts and notified me of her availability throughout the week. Along with that, she was flexible and accommodating to our limited scheduling availability.
Jackie was very detailed and thorough and took the time to discuss the purchasing process as we were first time homebuyers, which helped during the negotiations.
We spent around four months looking for a new home and not once was Jackie impatient; she genuinely wanted us to find our ideal home. On top of that, Jackie is just a good person to work with on a personal level: she is very easy to talk to, she is receiptive to questions, and is very open.
Jackie had a strong knowledge of the market and was crucial in helping us identify the right home at the right price. From start to finish the purchase process was seemless and we have Jackie to thank. I would strongly recommend Jackie when purchasing a home.
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $350K in West Dundee, IL.
Was hard to get a time for her to show us properties. Not very fast on returning calls. Spoke non-stop on how many contracts she just had signed and how great she was while we were trying to look at properties for ourselves. Planned on firing her but had just found the house we wanted-she would have ended up with the commission if we used someone else. Didn't come to the closings either. Overall - if you are looking at buying or selling a house, I wouldn't use her.

Wow, I’m so sorry about your experience with me. You never indicated that you were unhappy throughout any of our time working together, so this is coming as a complete shock to me. I’m upset that you’re upset, and wish there was a way to make this experience better. I felt I did a good job, with selling your home quickly & your purchase, but didn’t realize that you were upset with me, or there were any issues. I know that I was very busy during this time, so I’m sorry that I came across as bragging. Also, sorry for not attending your closings, but your closings were rescheduled to one that I already had committed to, otherwise, I definitely would have been there. Again, I’m so sorry that you feel that I let you down. Thanks for letting me know so I can always improve on my services.
Sold a Townhouse home in 2013 in Elk Grove Village, IL.
Jackie was great! She was so accommodating to our schedule and situation. We had to take a newborn with us all the time. So between the sleeping/feeding she was so flexible! We also appreciated that she fought for us on the negotiations and was on our side! She is professional but very comfortable to work with.
We found Jackie because of her wide breadth of knowledge in the area we were shopping, as well as in short sale and foreclosure dealings. She was always very responsive and helpful in guiding us through this new community. Her positive and realistic advice landed us in the perfect home. She was incredibly patient with the number of homes that we wished to see. We also used her to list our other property for sale and were impressed with the professional services used to get the best dollar for our home. Jackie is a rare gem in that she is incredibly generous. Her commitments to clients and community are well worth noting. She stands apart.
