We are first time home buyers and we really did not know what to expect about the whole home buying process. We found Jim online and he had really helped us since day one, he made the whole process less stressful and was always prompt in responding to questions. He had the same energy from the first house we saw in Sharon until we finally saw the 20th house that we bought. He really is a buyer's agent and would point out things that as first time home buyers, would not even think of. He never made us feel rushed and would not push on anything. He is very easy to work with and would work around our availability to show us houses.
He is highly recommended and bonus part is, he gave us 30% of his commission which we used towards hardwood flooring.

Jim is the man, point blank. I bought my Turner st in Quincy and Jim was with me from beginning to end. He picked all my phone calls at whatever time i called. He answers my questions and did his homeowrk before each showing. After we close, Jim came to visit and even helped me turn on the heat in the house. He is a great person and of course a great agent. I recommend to anyone.

As a first time homebuyer, I had no idea as to the amount of work that goes into searching for and buying a home. Jim made the process much easier for me, and was extremely accessible and willing to answer all of my questions. Whenever I contacted him, he was quick to respond and get back to me, and was very flexible with his schedule so that we were able to look at homes at my convenience. When I eventually found a home I loved, Jim completely impressed me with his attention to detail. He was there for me 100% and really made me feel like he was, in fact, a buyer's agent. I 100% recommend him. He made the process smooth, and I couldn't imagine doing it without his kindness & expertise!

I am usually not one to write reviews but I had such a great experience I just felt I needed to share! My husband and I were looking for our first home. We were sick of paying rent and the time seemed right, but we did not know where to begin. A friend told us about how Jim had helped them and we gave him a call. I was honestly really nervous about meeting him thinking we were going to be sold a home on every one we saw, call it first time home buyers jitters or just bad experiences a few friends have had with other realtors…but I was just nervous. I had in my mind what I wanted, and I didn’t want to feel pressured or just settle. Right from the get, I really liked Jim and could tell we got "a good one"! At our first meeting, he told us he did not care if we saw 1 home or 100 homes as long as we found the right home at the right price for us. Like most people, my husband and I both work, so we could only look at homes either at night or the weekends. He worked around our schedules, always seemed to manage to get us into see something we were interested in on a weekday night, and spent countless weekends with us looking at so many homes!!! We were so comfortable with Jim it was like going to look at homes with a family member or friend, pointing out the good and bad points of each home we saw. We didn’t need to see the 100 homes but it did take a while!!! When we found OUR place, Jim helped us break down the price with recent sales and helped us negotiate without causing the seller to walk away until we had our place at the price we were very comfortable with. I owe my friend big time in referring Jim as our agent, I love my new home and had such a great experience getting here!! Thanks Jim!

I started my home search by going to open houses and making sign calls to see homes for around 4 months, as I was not pre-approved and most agents I called would not work with me until I was pre-approved. I found Jim on Zillow in the corner of one of my home searches and decided to call him, and my home search process took a turn for the better. After meeting with Jim over coffee (he did not care that I was not pre-approved yet but pointed me in the right direction) we went over all of my home needs and areas I was interested in living. He set me up a search with my towns, parameters and a price point we talked over. All of sudden I was seeing homes that really interested me and finally after going out with Jim to check them all out (around 75 places later) we found the one. Jim never rushed me and was always there with great information and insight into the whole home buying process. This is a great starter place Jim helped me find(now I own for what I was renting for) and I could not have done it without him. Thank you so much.

i met james through these adds gave him a chance he was never good at explaining things.he never seemed to be good at the whole process he sent me listings in towns i told him i didnt want he counted on the mls system to find me a home he never once called me and say hey what do u think about this house i had to call him when i found one and asked him to set it up.i think a broker is suppose to work for u not theother way around.so i went with someone else he started to give me an attitude saying i cant and shouldnt work with two people he acted like i was suppose to only call him when he never ever ever once called me to offer a listing he only tried to sell himself with the 30 percent rebate it was his only selling point of himself i told him how mad i was and he said dont forget about the rebate be aware when someone has to give there commision away to get business u should earn it on working hard for your client i do not recommend him that rebate will cost u more in negotiating on a house.

Looks like another Brokerage is not happy with Bird Dog’s success as a new comer that gives Buyer’s what they need in their home search. We don’t push Homes on anybody; the Buyer’s make their own decisions on what to see and what to offer with great advice and stats from Bird Dog RE. We work with our Buyers to guide and help them, whether it takes seeing 1 or 1000 homes, our goal is to find the right place at the right price with no exceptions. Our 30% Buyer’s Rebate is hated by other Brokerage’s. We know all the work Buyers do on their end in today’s market, researching areas and homes. We feel that they should get something back at the end of their search. That Buyer’s rebate comes in handy when you start to move in and our Buyer’s LOVE us for it. It is foolish that I need to write this rebuttal to contend with an Agent who is unhappy with the way we do business. You should be able to tell by the 3rd grade writing ability that this is nothing but SOUR GRAPES.

I had a great experience working with Jim. I am a first time home buyer, and Jim was extremely patient and accommodating with me. Every aspect of the Home Buying process was explained to me in a way that was easy to understand, and I never felt overwhelmed at any point. He was never too busy to meet with me at any time, and any questions I had, he had answers to. Day or night, he was available. I would recommend Jim to anyone looking to buy a home around the South Shore.

Have not worked w/James to buy a home, so could only give stars on what he's helped me with. Unbelievealby helpful, this guy was. But he was on the phone w/me for over a half hour trying to explain all of my options for rentals, even though he doesn't do rentals.
He even looked up a few for me, even though he wouldn't benefit from the transaction. Very unusual to work w/a person who is sincere these days. I can only imagine how efficient and caring he'd be to a buyer that he was getting paid to represent. I'd hightly recommend him.
