Bought a Townhouse home in 2007 for approximately $250K in Trinidad, Washington, DC.
Jim Lisowski was recommended to me by two different friends independently, and I'm glad he was. Not only was he knowledgable about DC and the current markets, his no-nonsense approach was very efficient and didn't waste my time (unlike another agent I tried). Because of Jim's skill, I got a great deal on my home 6 years ago and now have over $200k in equity.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $375K in Kingman Park, Washington, DC.
I am so happy that we had Jim as our agent in the purchase of our first home. He was extremely knowledge, always available and quick to respond, unbiased, and just a really nice and enjoyable person to be around during what can be a very stressful time. I have and will recommend him to anyone, as I couldn't imagine a better agent to have on your side.

Bought a home in 2012.
I cant fully express how great it has been working with Jim. I am a first time homebuyer and knew very little of the process. Jim made sure to stand with me through every step and explain everything so I fully understood what was going on. Jim even recommended someone for my home insurance, and they were cheaper than my original company.
We must have looked at twenty houses, Jim made sure we found one we loved prior to buying. He is extremely knowledgable, answering questions ranging from home repair to neighborhoods.
One thing that stands out to me is Jim did not treat me like a commission, but as a friend who he truly cared about finding the right home.
I would recommend Jim to my closest friend.

Bought a Condo home in 2011 for approximately $275K in Southwest Waterfront, Washington, DC.
Jim was great. He made me feel comfortable asking questions and was understanding of my concerns and needs. He was proactive with sending me suggestions and was very receptive to feedback and comments about what I was looking for. I would definitely go to him for my next purchase and would recommend him to friends. He was responsive and informative, and provided me with the information and resources I needed to make the home-buying process smooth and painless. This being my first purchase, he was also patient with me, which was great!

Bought a home in 2009.
James is great - He really knows his stuff! We purchased a home with him in 2009 and have since recommended him to a few of our friends (who have also purchased). We all couldn't be happier with our choice in homes and his help through the entire process. He is patient, knowledgeable and really made us a feel at ease. Thanks Jimmy!

James Lisowski is one of the best real estate agents in D.C. He knows the city inside and out, and has a great sense about what his clients are looking for in a home.
