Bought a Single Family home in 2005 for approximately $250k in Pottstown, PA.Summary:
I agree with the other reviewer that gave Jennifer Daywalt a horrible review. We were first time home buyers in 2005 and I never met Jennifer until the day of our settlement. We saw a house with her sign out front and ended up calling her on it. The house was unavailable and we ended up staying with her as she was was going to help us find other houses. The weekend we went to look at houses, she was at the beach and sent her boyfriend, who was not a realtor at that time, to show us three houses.
We signed an agreement on a house that weekend, with her boyfriend, not Jennifer. The appraisal came back negative on the house, but she assured us not to worry as she had a friend in the mortgage business that would help us. She referred us to her friend at Wells Fargo and all of a sudden, the appraisal came back approved. For the inspections, she told us that she couldn't work around our schedule and that we didn't need to be at the inspections. (we were first time home buyers and very naive). We were not told that this house was a homeowner's association as well.
For the walk through, she was "stuck in her driveway" and sent her friend at the mortgage company to assist us. So our walk through was with our mortgage representative NOT our realtor. There were many problems with the house and at settlement, she ended up bringing her two kids to OUR settlement and refused to negotiate the repairs that clearly needed to be done, saying that since it was a seller's market, the seller would not approve and that we were lucky we got a house in a seller's market. Again, this was the first time we MET Jennifer - all of our dealings were with her unlicensed boyfriend and our mortgage representative.
Two years later, I ended up working for another real estate agent as a real estate assistant and realized that the things that Jennifer did in our situation, was completely not the norm. We were taken advantage of because we were naive first time home buyers.
If you are a first time home buyer - stay away - she made her commission and I never heard from her again. But that's ok, since I really only met her once and I will NEVER recommend her to anyone. I will do the complete opposite!…More Less

Sold a Single Family home in 1999 in Phoenixville, PA.Summary:
Jennifer Daywalt takes the lead in my book for real estate services. You want her on your side of the table representing you, the seller or the buyer. She is very through, detailed oriented and has a high standard of ethic's. I first met her when she was on the opposite side of the table. She thoroughly guided and protected the buyer through the entire process. Since then Jennifer Daywalt has been my realtor and my recommended choice. If you need realtor services, talk to her, see if she fits your needs and can help you. I did and have no regrets.…More Less
