Sold a home in 2012.
Jen helped me purchase my first home 5 years ago and has since help my new husband and I sell his home, sell my home, and purchase a home together. Throughout the 5 years between my first purchase and today, Jen has been a constant in my life even though we weren't doing business the entire time! She made sure she stayed in contact and made me feel like more of a friend. During the sales of our individual homes, she has ALWAYS looked out for our best interest, including when our home warranty didn't come through like it should have, she followed up and got us the money we deserved. Jen is truly an amazing person and the best agent anyone could ask for. OH! I didn't mention that when I was looking for my first home, Jen was the only one who responded on a Saturday! She's amazing.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $100K in Elmira, NY.
My wife and I were buying a small, starter home for our son to occupy as a tenant for the next few years. As such, it was not a "big" buy, and one not likely to generate significant commissions. Nevertheless, Jennifer treated us as if we were clients looking for an estate. We are located in Florida and she conducted the entire search from long-distance, talking with us virtually every day and meeting with our son to look at properties as necessary. We found the perfect house and closed in record time--all due to Jennifer's efforts. We'd never use another agent in the Elmira/Corning area, and we recommend Jennifer Harpending to anyone looking for superior service.

Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $75K in Painted Post, NY.
We have used Jen 3x in the last 6yrs. We bought our first house with her. It was a fix-er-up-er and she had AMAZING knowledge and eye to help us decide if it was worth the investment. When the family started to grow and it was time to move up and out, we again used Jen and she was fantastic yet again. Due to circumstances out of either party's control we sold the house but then lost the seller, and had to "resell" it yet again. And the 2nd time she had the house under contract in 5days for full asking price!!! Our 3rd transaction with Jen is our current house. Yet again very speedy and easy to deal with in a very stressful situation.
If we ever have to sell/buy again i know who i will be contacting!

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $150K in Painted Post, NY.
Jennifer went above and beyond to help us find just the right home for our family in a very limited market. She has an innate ability to understand her clients needs as well as extensive knowledge of the area and sharp negotiating skills. We would certainly recommend "The Duke" to anyone who may be moving to the area.

Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $75K in Corning, NY.
Jennifer helped us with real estate questions, decisions, and two moves. We were
so impressed with her that we referred her to my parents whose house she sold after
they had been having difficulty selling with other agents. They love the new place she helped them buy. Jen never made us feel like we were a bother or low on her priority list just because we couldn't afford expensive homes. She was thorough explaining the current market each time we listed our home, so we could set an informed listing price to move the house quickly. Always honest but encouraging, you can count on Jennifer to be there for you. We will miss her now that we've moved out of state.

Jenn is the best! She takes the time to listen to you & then goes for what is best for you & not her. This is my second time using Jenn. She is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Jenn & would use her again. She doesn't back down for the sellers or the buyers whom she is representing.
