We had already put in a contingent offer to a new place, and we HAD to sell within 21 days and close escrow within 60 days. (The average sale time in our area was about two months at that point.) Jerry was a miracle worker. We sold our place the day after our first open house and closed escrow within 36 days. And we managed to do a concurrent close on our new place as well. My wife and I purchased our first home from Jerry and Rachel, we were excited about our new purchase but Jerry took all the fun, trust, and joy out of the process.
Even after our offer was accepted Jerry consistently harassed our broker about a backup saying that if we accepted the findings of the inspectors our offer would be rejected. Jerry and Rachel had little to no respect for us as buyers and took every small request we such as having the owners provide proof of insurance during the leaseback as a burden or not necessary.
Throughout the process Jerry commented many times that he was doing us a favor as they had a higher offer that they did not accept, such added stress and pressure was only diminishing the joy of the process. During the negotations Jerry and his clients agreed to certain things to remain with house, including 4 very large pots planted with fruit trees, upon close his clients removed the pots and trees saying "those pots were not included, but the small Wallmart bought ones were." Lastly, after the sale of the house we asked Jerry to remove his sign from our property, yet he never did, it stood on our property as advertising for them long after the close even after we asked him repeatedly to move it. Overall, Jerry and his wife were underhanded, nasty, and vindictive but my wife and I were focused on the house and believe that is the real price here.

We did not represent this buyer. We represented the seller only. Customer satisfaction is something we take very seriously, and accordingly, we do apologize that you did not receive the experience you wanted during our transaction. I think it is important to understand that you, the buyer, had your own realtor from a completely different office that we had no relation to. I understand our sellers did not agree to every request you made. Any good realtor can confirm, we have fiduciary obligation to facilitate the decisions of our clients, even if it upsets the principal on the other end of the deal. We do wish that all sides, on every transaction, is left satisfied, and, in that respect, we do apologize for your experience.

Jerry and his team helped my wife and I buy our first home.
We met Jerry at a listing of his with the clear intent to introduce ourselves as potential buyers shopping for an agent. We had a bad experience w a prior agent and were eager for one who understand our price point and our geographic limitations. Jerry was definitely that person.
He knew our neighborhood extremely well and its sales history, movement, etc.
He was very quick with a return call and/or email when we needed -whether a simple question or complex. He really never pushed us in a direction or looking at a home we did not want to go. He never pressured us to make an offer we were not comfortable with or seek a house that did not really fit our needs.
He knew we were eager, but not in a rush to buy and was patient. However, after just 4 months working together we found a great home in a crazy market. We had already lost out on one great property despite having the highest offer due to a cash buyer.
But with our new home, Jerry helped us accurately assess the price needed to secure the property and was spot on. We beat out 10 or 11 other offers. And he helped us knock off a bit on the final sale price due to the inspection report. We wound up buying a great home at the price we initially anticipated spending, on our ideal block in our ideal 'hood, with a great buying experience.
Sure escrow is nerve inducing and stressful, but Jerry helped us and answered our questions as we needed.
It definitely behooves any buyer to do as much of their own homework, research, open houses, etc to stay ahead of the market, their realtor, and lender so they have as much info at their tips. Doing that and working with Jerry and his team to get in on private showings was a great way to go. We always had a private showing the next day at the time we wanted whenever we wanted. He even connected us to contractors to view homes to see what work could be done. It was great. He really was helpful.
Again, we are really happy with our new home purchase. And feel we would not necessarily have landed the property with certainly our initial agent and possibly many others. Jerry and his team are great team who are fair, understanding, and knowledgeable. We definitely will recommend them and keep in touch as we consider our "next move."
