Jesse is amazing. When we found out that we were pre-approved, he set up a meeting with us that worked with our schedules. In our first meeting we explained what we were looking for and he immediately sent us a list of properties that fit our criteria. Our search began. He took us to view several homes and was very attentive to what we liked and didn't like about each home so he could help us find the perfect fit. Listing and buying a home is one of the more stressful investment decisions a person can make. We have been fortunate enough to work with Jesse and Shannon who work hard to keep us informed and help keep the nerves calm. I have been known to throw a complicated task at these two and their knowledge of the industry is top notch. Jesse helped prepare our home for us while we lived in another state and stopped by to check on the contractor while pre-listing work was completed. We have the privilege of knowing Jesse because our children attend school together. Originally, we went with him as our broker because we knew he was a good guy that happened to be in the business. 1) The man’s middle name is “Customer Service”. He cares about the deal as much as if he were buying or selling the home himself. He interfaced on our behalf with numerous people – some of which highly difficult to deal with – and made sure our questions were answered and concerns were addressed. He responded quickly to anything we posed before him and did an excellent job at keeping things manageable, leading us through the entire process with monk-like patience. Even now that the deal is done, he continues to check in with us and to make sure we’re happy with everything.
2) He’s well-connected and uber-knowledgable about residential real estate. When we mentioned wanting to add a basement level to our house, he pointed out several things we would need to consider – then, he reached out to contractors and obtained written bids for the project. When we were looking at mortgage options, he recommended a lender who was fantastic and ended up being the one we went with. His understanding of home construction has been a huge bonus, as has his interest in quality worksmanship. Jesse really knows his stuff, and he knows people to get stuff done.
3) Jesse is incredibly easy to work with. He brings an amazing amount of levity to the otherwise stressful real estate transaction process. He is honest, gives great advice, does not condescend, and we suspect has a secret degree in marriage therapy. He treats people with respect, empathy, and sincerity, and is an all-around stellar realtor.
