Ikea Kitchen Cabinets: Buy or Not?

Answer
Ikea kitchen cabinets come in high quality and in modern styles. One of the most common series is bravad and the products in this series come with very many features. The bravad base cabinet comes in a white color. You do not have to worry about the noise cabinets can make because they come with a damper which ensures that they close slowly and smoothly. The drawers are fully extending and this allows you to have an easy overview. The Ikea kitchen cabinets are made of hard wearing wood and coated with melamine which makes them scratch resistant. They are smooth running with a stop and you will not be disappointed because they are very attractive. The white melamine gives them a smooth and pleasant finish. With adjustable legs, they are able to stand well in any surface and they are also very easy to move. You however need to use different mounting devices for different floors. It is very easy to clean Ikea kitchen cabinets and all you need is a damp cloth and a mild cleaner. Rub gently until the surfaces are clean. You can read more on the product specification on their site and get to have in depth information on the Ikea bravad cabinet. Another Ikea kitchen cabinet is the bravad glass door wall cabinet which comes in a white color. It comes with an adjustable shelf which has a tempered glass. To clean the glass you need water or a glass cleaner. This is one of the most affordable cabinet and it can serve you in the best way that you desire. Another one that is very affordable is the bravad wall shelf. It is only $49.99 and if you are operating on a tight budget, this is the best option for you. There is no doubt that you are going to find the kitchen cabinet that are suitable for your house.[hotlinks removed by Zillow moderator]

home improvement

Response
In many cases, when homeowners are interested in home improvement projects, professionals are hired to improve the home. There are, however, a lot of people who prefer the do-it-yourself approach for improving their own homes.Home improvement may be done individually or with the help of professionals through consultations. Also, a lot of home improvement stores offer efficient tools and kits and even lessons for the do-it-yourself individual.Homeowners may hire general contractors to supervise home improvement projects. These contractors perform multiple tasks in managing the resources to be used and the people who will be working on the project, providing site access, removing debris after the project, and even performing some the tasks needed for the project. They are also in charge of hiring specialized workers such as plumbers, electricians, or roofers, although homeowners may actually opt to hire these workers themselves.Different Types of Home ImprovementImproving one's home varies from house to house; it may depend on what part or area of the house is to be refurbished. Improvement may be as simple as applying wallpaper or painting the walls, or it can be installing wood paneling on the walls. It can also included improving flooring by such means as installing carpet, tile, linoleum, or wood parquet, or even installing solid hardwood flooring. Upgrading cabinets, adding shelves, changing fixtures, and replacing sinks in the kitchen and the bathroom are also home improvement projects. Even repairing or adding to existing plumbing and electrical systems are considered home improvement.[numerous hotlinks deleted by Zillow moderator]

Remodeling a 1980s bathroom

Answer
When it comes times to invest money into a home remodel, most professional property appraisers, banks, and realtors would agree upon selecting a kitchen or bathroom remodel in order for the homeowner to maximize the profit when it comes time to sell the home. What if resale isn't a consideration? A remodel just for the sake of enjoyment for the owner is of course always a good investment. In the good old days of the 1950s and before, many homes were not designed and built with today's family, lifestyle, or luxuries in mind. Most rooms and even hallways were of smaller dimension. In fact, many homes built up until the end of the 1970's were built with smaller rooms than those homes of today. The big change came about in the 1980's, when the U.S. economy enjoyed rapid growth. What of the homes of today? Many builders and families are opting for the return of smaller homes and an environmental footprint. This is largely due to finances. Even though a family resides in a smaller home; does not mean luxuries have to be sacrificed.[Promotional content for contractor removed by Zillow moderator. How to remove haze from a ceramic tile floor?

Answer
Leveller is basically a really thin-set mortar. There are products made for cleaning that type of stuff off tile, we used them all the time when I used to lay tile and they saved us a LOT of work.Look in your local hardware place (I know for a fact that the larger stores carry the stuff) in the tile section. Look for the acidic cleaners, usually they say that they clean grout haze. All the ones I've used are great in cleaning off grout and mortar haze from tiles.A few things to note: the chemicals are acidic, so mix them in a plastic bucket, and USE GLOVES! Also do not let the solution come into contact with cement, or metal such as drains or sinks, etc. It WILL etch or discolor them. Lastly, the product may create fumes when used, so make sure to use adequate ventilation. Also, you may have to apply the product a few times. If the haze is stubborn, don't be afraid to let it sit on the tile for longer than the instructions say, up to an hour or two if necessary.Good luck![multiple commercial hotlinks removed by Zillow moderator]

New shower design with no door, do you like it?

Answer
When designing a shower you need to consider both form and function. The size of the shower will be determined by how big the room is and the preference of the homeowner. A shower can be small enough for one person, or large enough for several people. Regardless of how many people it can accommodate, be sure there is enough room to move around without bumping into the walls.[multiple commercial hotlinks removed by Zillow moderator]

Adding home improvements to my house.

Answer
One of the most significant of all home improvements is putting on an addition. There are many reasons a homeowner chooses to add an addition to his or her home, from increasing the resale value of the home to adding living space for new family members. Putting an addition on the home is no small project, and it is not one to be taken lightly. There are a number of important considerations, including the following. The UtilitiesIt is important to inform the general contractor about any utilities that will need to be relocated during the addition. For example, it may be necessary to bring in plumbing, electricity, telephone or gas lines, and this can mean structural changes to the existing property. Knowing which utilities will need to be relocated will also help the general contractor determine which subcontractors will be needed in order to complete the project.[multiple commercial hotlinks removed by Zillow moderator]

Is an office kitchen considered a commercial kitchen?

Response
A commercial kitchen has certain requirements and regulations that are not met in a small kitchenette that you will find in an office. These spaces cost much more to rent for a reason. You really need to contact your states office that regulates food service (I cannot think what the heck they are called right now) and see what the requirements and regulations are for a commercial kitchen. This is the only way to be sure you are in compliance.------------------------------------------------------------------------------[commercial hotlinks removed by moderator]
