We were considering the purchase of a Eugene home for our son who was a freshman at U of O - figuring it would save us rental payments and generate income during his undergrad program. Jim proved to be an excellent source of detailed knowledge and wisdom, showing us a variety of suitable properties over a range of price points. He had clear understanding and presentation of the dynamics of the Eugene market, and the effect of the growth of the university on pricing and property availability. We found Jim very responsive, but not pushy. Jim is extremely knowledgeable about values and locations in Eugene. He acted as our buyers agent as we shopped for a rental property, and we now have a steady income from our purchase. Jim had ideas about how to remodel the building to meet our income desires, and was familiar with the building permit process.
