There are many realtors that can list your home or show you one that is for sale, but after working with Joanne Gillet I realize that she is definitely one of the best, and the only one I would call for my real estate needs. Not only is Joanne knowledgeable, she is also very patient and kind, and that is what makes her stand out from the rest.

Joanne was the right agent from the time she stepped through the door. Friendly, knowledgeable, able to identify improvement issues to sellers that buyers will recognize and appreciate. She has an easy confidence that instills trust. We were out of state sellers and she kept us informed and up to date as the process unfolded. She found a buyer quicker than expected and was instrumental in getting all the details in order for a quick closing. She was an active participant in all aspects from prepping the property for sale to the final closing. There were several times that she went above and beyond what we would have expected. It was a pleasure to work with her. A very satisfying experience.

My husband and I began working with Joanne about 5 years ago while visiting our daughter who was attending college in the Myrtle Beach area. We knew that we wanted to retire somewhere in the Carolinas, near the ocean, but had no idea where. Every time that we came down for a college visit, we called Joanne, who made herself available to us and took us to communities in the Murrells Inlet/Pawleys Island area. For 5 years, we explored other communities from Savannah, Ga. to the Outer Banks N.C. but kept on coming back to the Murrells Inlet/Pawleys Island area because it just 'felt right'. Joanne never pressured us and just continued to show us more houses whenever we were in town. We finally narrowed down our search to two communities in the area - Heritage Plantation and Wachesaw Plantation. After looking at all of the houses in the communities, within our price range, we didn't see anything that really appealed to us. It was then that Joanne suggested that we build a custom house. We had never really considered it, but after meeting with a builder that she highly recommended, we felt comfortable and decided to build. Well, our house was built, we moved in and we couldn't be happier. Joanne went above and beyond to ensure that we made the right decision for us. We give Joanne the highest recommendation for her professionalism, knowledge and expertise. She is especially helpful with relocation issues and helped answer all of our questions.

We had already interviewed two agents before meeting Joanne and I thought that the second agent would be our choice. When Joanne arrived she was not only very well prepared and personable but really became animated when I asked her specific questions about her company, Pawleys Seaside Realty. I think that spark was the deciding factor in our choosing Joanne and we were more than satisfied with her during the entire process.
