Sold a home in 2010.

Summary:

I don't think there are words that carry enough weight to describe Joey. I found myself in a situation probably similar to many people last year: in a condo worth less than I owed, taking pay cuts at work due to economic slow down, a real estate market in the tank. I tried several times to take advantage of government programs, my mortgage holders programs, anything to get my mortgage restructured so I could stay in the condo but nothing came through. I was at the end of the road and had resigned myself to going through a foreclosure and trashing my credit for a long time.

I told Joey my situation and she recommended we try and short-sale my condo, I was game for anything but very skeptical that it could get done because nothing was selling and the last unit that did sell was woefully low. I told her my reservations and worries and she told me to get her some information, not worry about it, and let her go to work. The process was slow at first but Joey was hustling on my behalf, pretty soon we started to get people trickling in and in a few months we had 4 offers stacked up ready to roll.

As soon as I started to get my hopes up that I could get out of this jam the bank came back and said all the offers were too low and gave us the lowest number they would take. I was sure that was the end and I was sunk, Joey kept working on the bank and the buyers until she was miraculously able to get a buyer and the bank to the same number, unbelievable! Then we found out the condo building was too far behind on HOA payments to accept the buyers loan, again Joey came to the rescue and worked out a deal to get enough of the HOA's paid to make the percentages right.

Joey was literally the light at the end of a tunnel for me and I am in debt to her forever. More importantly than being an awesome realtor Joey is a super person, honest, down to earth, and trustworthy. I will absolutely work with Joey again and always refer my friends and family to her.
