Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $200K in Highland Park, Seattle, WA.
Joey recently helped my wife and I sell our house in West Seattle. The neighborhood was not in Seattle's "red hot market," so we didn't know how well it would be received on the market and whether real estate agents would flock to our potential listing.
Joey worked very hard to make sure that our house was seen by multiple agents and buyers, and we found the right buyer at the right time. Needless to say, Joey was instrumental in working with our lender and buyer to ensure ease of sale. She kept us updated on every detail of the transaction and was able to close our home by working her magic.
We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to list in the Seattle area.
Bought a Townhouse home in 2012 for approximately $300K in Columbia City, Seattle, WA.
I was lucky enough to have Joey recommended to me by a friend for my first home purchase & she made it a smooth & enjoyable experience.
I had done some light research, knew a general idea of what I wanted & where I wanted to live - but the more technical aspects were completely foregin & a little intimidating. After my first conversation with Joey, I knew that we were in good hands. She walked me through each step of the process & answered every question I had (of which there were many) & genuinely wanted to make sure I was comfortable in my understanding.
When showing me prospective homes, Joey made sure she knew my style, what was important to me as a homeowner (location, schools, activity, price, commute, future value, etc) & showed options that all fell within what I was looking for. I think the one of the best parts was of the experience though was that the first house she showed us was so perfect that we ended up making an offer the next day.
Joey was able to negoitiate an amazing price & close for me & every aspect of the close was virtually painless. We were also recommended an amazing mortgage broker who helped make everything happen as well.
I know that when it comes time for my next home purchase, I'm definitely going to work with Joey again.
Joey negotiated our short sale. I’m very happy she was on our side! She is very knowledgeable and proactive. She worked with our Bank and managed to get our townhome sold. There were a few times during the process that we started to panic and loose hope. Joey would reassure us that this was “normal” and as hard as it may be, be patient. It was an emotional roller coaster, so it was nice to know that Joey was in control of the situation. Whenever we had a question she got back to us within a reasonable amount of time. Usually faster, even during Holidays. I never felt ignored. She was always there when I needed her, even though we never met face to face. I would recommend Joey McCune any time I needed a realtor. Especially if I was looking at a short sale. Thank you Joey for all you do!

We needed to find a house in a hurry. Joey was prompt, always responded, and in only five days, helped us find the perfect place.
In what seemed like an endless and frustrating process, Joey helped us navigate the ins and outs and complications of home buying with the gentle ease of a true professional. She went above and beyond to ensure a smooth process for our family from looking at houses all the way through closing.
I wholeheartedly recommend Joey for anyone looking to buy a home in the Seattle area!
I don't think there are words that carry enough weight to describe Joey. I found myself in a situation probably similar to many people last year: in a condo worth less than I owed, taking pay cuts at work due to economic slow down, a real estate market in the tank. I tried several times to take advantage of government programs, my mortgage holders programs, anything to get my mortgage restructured so I could stay in the condo but nothing came through. I was at the end of the road and had resigned myself to going through a foreclosure and trashing my credit for a long time.
I told Joey my situation and she recommended we try and short-sale my condo, I was game for anything but very skeptical that it could get done because nothing was selling and the last unit that did sell was woefully low. I told her my reservations and worries and she told me to get her some information, not worry about it, and let her go to work. The process was slow at first but Joey was hustling on my behalf, pretty soon we started to get people trickling in and in a few months we had 4 offers stacked up ready to roll.
As soon as I started to get my hopes up that I could get out of this jam the bank came back and said all the offers were too low and gave us the lowest number they would take. I was sure that was the end and I was sunk, Joey kept working on the bank and the buyers until she was miraculously able to get a buyer and the bank to the same number, unbelievable! Then we found out the condo building was too far behind on HOA payments to accept the buyers loan, again Joey came to the rescue and worked out a deal to get enough of the HOA's paid to make the percentages right.
Joey was literally the light at the end of a tunnel for me and I am in debt to her forever. More importantly than being an awesome realtor Joey is a super person, honest, down to earth, and trustworthy. I will absolutely work with Joey again and always refer my friends and family to her.

My wife and I met Joey and instantly felt like we could trust her to help us purchase our first home. Joey was so responsive, that we felt as if we were her most important client. She worked with our schedule for house viewings. She surprised us with her thorough knowledge of Seattle neighborhoods and the greater Seattle area. Joey's positive attitude and straight forward advice ensured that we found the best house in our price range. I recommend Joey to my family and friends.
Joey has been my or my family's realtor on 3 separate purchases in the last 5-6 years. I have found her to be highly professional, personable and accommodating to meet my schedule to tour residences. She has good negotiating ability and worked tirelessly to obtain the best possible price for me. I feel confident of her skills and would highly recommend her to anyone requiring a real estate professional.
Sold a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $450K in Admiral, Seattle, WA.
We specifically sought out Joey because we had heard that she was excellent with potentially sticky tranactions. She was very honest and upfront with us in terms of what to expect in the process. Over a purchase of a new home and the sale of our previous home Joey was responsive and tracked the proceedings like a hawk. She was a tireless negotiator and in the end was our perfect agent match! We would highly recommend Joey for any real estate tranaction.

I've used Joey. She is great. More importatly, I referred Joey to a demanding friend with a large commercial and residential real estate portfolio. He stated that Joey was the best agent who ever worked on his projects.
