I called several agents before my home purchase. I got lots of voicemails and "too busy right now"s. When John answered he was very patient, and kind, and understanding, and answered all of my questions. Since my income is fairly low, I didn't have a lot of options for home purchasing. When a really nice manufactured home dropped their price by $8000, I knew I could afford it, barely! I called John and he immediately set up a time to go check it out. It was a Friday evening and we both liked it a lot. John went back to his office (even though it was pretty late) and drew up the offer. He sent it to me by email, for me to Authentisign. We had that offer in on Friday evening! That really helped because the sellers were looking at our offer on Saturday morning. By Saturday night we had negotiated with the sellers, and the sale was now pending. Then there was a problem later on because the inspector said the manufactured home needed tie downs. John negotiated for me, and the sellers agreed to pay half of the cost. I had trouble finding a contractor to do the work. I told John, and the next thing I knew he was calling all around to find a contractor. (not easy for tie downs) John was always working to help me. You'd think I was a millionaire! There were several hurdles; due to the fact that it was an FHA loan and a manufactured home. John was calm and reassuring, and had a solution to every hurdle I encountered. He also kept me updated at every turn. And was never to busy to answer any question I had. John earned every 5 star rating I gave him. He's really hardworking, a team player, and an excellent negotiator. I'm really glad I chose him for my home purchase. Sincerely, Bruce Miller

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $275K in Lynden, WA.

John Irion helped us sell a home in Lynden in July of 2014. I had 10 other real estate agents in my home before John (admittedly some came in packs to help with pricing). Although all of those agents struck me as competent, John struck me as remarkable. John spent 2.5 hours with us on our initial meeting (and we had just called him that afternoon). His market analysis was for more detailed than the other two I had done. He reached further back to find like comparables and really looked beyond the basic square foot figures. This was nice as we had an unfinished basement, overly large lot, attic, and the world's biggest garage that did not fit into traditional living space square foot formulas well. We went with his pricing suggestion, which was higher than the other agents, and we had an offer within 4 days.

John spent 4 hours at our home taking photos for the listing and did it with skill ("What if we move this couch over here, and open this up?" "I want to wait an hour to catch this type of lighting on exterior shots?"). Even the way he arranged our photos in the listing struck me having some savvy. John really helped us look our best.

John communicates at a very high level of skill. He has an enthusiasm and charisma that I wish they sold in stores. He knows how to move a conversation, how to deliver bad news, and how to present options that need to be weighed. John possesses a level of intuitiveness that serves him well in this industry (when to return a form, how to pitch a counter-offer, when to include a personal touch and when to leave it out). These are small variables, nearly intangibles, but I think John's cunning gives him a bit of an edge.

I was surprised to see how many homes John had listed at the time of our sale, as I always felt we had individual attention. John has a sharp mind, the ability to think originally about a property, and a genuine concern for others. I am confident that John will be a major agent in the Lynden real estate market, and I know he will do so well.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $275K in Lynden, WA.

John spent a lot of time showing my husband and I the areas that we were interested in. Even though I had grown up nearby I wasn't familiar with all of the local parks and sites of interest. I found it very helpful and interesting. He patiently showed us many homes and helped us to quickly bid on the home that we purchased. He even helped us get some move-in help when we needed it. Working with him was a very pleasant experience.

Bought a home in 2014 in Cottonwood Beach, Blaine, WA 98230.

John Irion was my realtor for a purchase in Birch Bay, WA. I live in Edmonds, close to 70 miles away from the property I was purchasing, which was a bank owned condominium. There were endless special details/forms and requirements that I needed to attend to during this process. John was consistently and always professional, timely, considerate and helpful. It was such a pleasure to work with someone so calm, kind and considerate. I would use his services again if I ever purchased another property in Watcom County. He couldn't have been more helpful if I were purchasing a much more expensive property, and this is something I noticed right from the start. Anyone using his services will be amazed at how pleasant a real estate transaction can be.

Showed home in 2014 in Cottonwood Beach, Blaine, WA 98230.

John is an agent who puts his clients first. In our case, he did not make a sale. As we were viewing and discussing options, he realized that the purchase would not be a good investment for us, and gave us his honest opinion. I have no hesitations in recommending John as an agent. He is an excellent listener, taking his time to understand what you are looking for and make suggestions. He is very knowledgeable, but he doesn't pretend to know everything. Anything he didn't know, he worked very hard to find out. We enjoyed working with John, and would work with him again without hesitation.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $250K in Whatcom Falls, Bellingham, WA.

John helped my wife and I search for and purchase our first home. He was extremely helpful in all aspects of the purchase which was good because we had no idea what we were doing. The experience was quick and painless which is apparently not always the case. I attribute the great experience to Johns expertise. My wife and I were in our new home in less than two months from our first meeting with John and we are loving it. I will definitely be referring all of my friends and family to him in the future.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $275K in Blaine, WA.

John helped us look for a retirement/vacation home on and off for almost 2 years. He was patient and helpful the whole time. We covered much of Whatcom County in our search and John was knowledgeable of the whole county. When we found the right place, John did a great job advising us on the process and negotiations. We are really happy with the whole experience.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $400K in Lynden, WA.

When it was time for us to downsize we took a recommendation from friends and contacted John Irion. After listing our 16-year-old home we had two viable offers the first day. He then showed us many properties that fit our new requirements. John impressed us with his caring, knowledgeable expertise; if there was something he was unsure of, he researched it and got right back to us with the answer. John has great insight into the workings of the current real estate market and was supportive and reassuring when parts of the selling/buying process seemed uncertain and worrisome. John operates with the highest integrity and always with our best interests in mind. We are very pleased to recommend him for your real estate needs. Clarence and Janet Henderson Lynden, WA
