Enough can't be said about the quality and expertise John has provided for my family and I. He has been patient though the long and tedious undertakings of a short sale. That is so hard to find in a time where most agents are only interested in closing the deal. John always put the interest of my family and I first. Never pushy, always helpful, and quick to responding to all aspects on this real-estate process. His knowledge of the market and his dedication to client satisfaction has been unparalleled to any other agent I have dealt with. After graduating college I set a goal to buy a house or condo within a year and John was a tremendous help in making that a reality. I know it would not have happened without his expertise and persistence.
I originally contacted him (and several other agents) in May 2011 through this site and he called me within a few hours to see how he could help. At the time I had no idea what goes into buying a house/condo and was nowhere near ready to even start looking. I felt no pressure talking with him and he simply gave me advise and offered to help out any way he could. Over the next several months he would send me relevant properties, called me every now and again, but I still wasn't ready. He worked with me for a full year, looking at properties and giving me advise on what to do. Long story short, I finally found one (a short sale condo) that fit the bill and he did a great job negotiating with the seller and the bank to get me the best deal possible. There were a lot of curve balls that came up with this particular property but John knew all the ins and outs of everything and navigated some seemingly sticky situations with ease and confidence.
Overall, he made buying my first home an easy and enjoyable experience. I feel confident that I got an amazing deal and don't have a single regret. John offers great advise, is experienced and knowledgeable, communicates clearly, and is not the least bit pushy. I've already referred him to my parents and girlfriend and I'd recommend anyone looking for a home in San Diego to talk to him.

This is the first time that we have purchased a home, and John has been great. He has very good knowledge of the area that we are interested in, and informs us when a property that meets our criteria comes on the market. He responds very quickly to our questions about properties and is very flexable when it comes to seeing properties. We have put in a few offers, and John has really helped us in writing the correct offer for the property. I feel that we are very luck to have found an agent that really cares about the client, and not just selling a house. I would recommend John to my family and friends.

John handled the sale of my rental property in a very professional and timely manner. I encountered a couple of challenges in closing the property and John was able to resolve the issues very quickly. He was always available whenever I had a question on the status of the escrow. I would recommend John to anyone who needs a professional agent for their real estate needs.

04/02/2011 - mbaaubryBought a Condo home in 2010 for approximately $200K in Spring Valley, CA.
I tried working with three other real estate agents in the local area, and they were not interested in helping me from start to finish. They were difficult to reach, and were unwilling to pursue additional leads as they became available. The lack of follow-up on their behalf was shocking, as this was going to be my first home purchase. Based on my personal experience, it seemed that they were only interested in the commission check that could have come at the end of the transaction.
After seeing John at a local function, I found out he was working as a real estate broker. He really cared about our transaction, consistently following-up and showing me new properties as they became available on the market. He helped me put in timely offers that were met with positive response from listing agents.
Upon finally finding a property that was acceptable, John and I worked together to get the appropriate documentation for the bank. Because of the tightened lending requirements, it made the closing process extremely difficult. The listing agent and the seller were extremely frustrated with the time involved in closing the loan – the seller was going to back out of the deal. Because of John’s diligence, he was able to calm the seller, the listing agent, and persuade the bank to fund the loan in a timely manner.
I am now living in my first home that I purchased. This would not have been possible without the great work ethic and outstanding communication skills possessed by John Lieber. I would highly recommend that any potential homeowner or seller work with him on any transaction – his exemplary customer service and strong business acumen will alleviate any difficulties that are considerable within the buying and selling process.

On our first transaction together, between price/term negotiations and his extensive background on different types of transactions, Mr. Lieber conservaitively saved me 10% on the purchase of the home.
His attention to detail and ability to do things right the first time are refreshing and effective.
If extremely professional, responsive and competent transactions are what you seek, then , Mr. Lieber should be strongly considered.
He will be representing me on every single real estate transaction I have for the remainder of my time in the market.
