Applied for a loan, but it didn't work out. Chapel Hill, NC
Our home loan application was handled with incompetence by Wells Fargo. Mr. DeHart was especially unprofessional because he blamed us for some of the mistakes his team made. We alerted him to problems almost a week before our scheduled closing, but he didn't investigate or try to correct those problems until the day before we were due to close. When our closing was delayed and it was clear that we were dissatisfied, Mr. DeHart's supervisor made the processing of the loan a top priority, which we appreciated but it should never have been so mishandled in the first place. We will never apply for another home loan from Wells Fargo, and we will steer clear of Mr. DeHart whether he is at Wells Fargo or another financial institution.More Less
