We connected, but it did not work out. Looking in Upper East Side, Manhattan, New York, NY 10028
Really seemed to know her stuff when we first spoke, but then failed to respond when I was ready to act, despite multiple attempts to reach her. I finally went to a different realtor who closed the deal.
We first worked with Judy in 1998 when she was instrumental in helping us find, negotiate and gain board approval for our first apartment in NYC. Because I had been so impressed with her work and the pleasure it was working with her, when it came time to change apartments in 2009 due to the loss of my wife and remarriage, I immediately called to see if Judy was available. To my relief, she was. Working with Judy, we were able to define what we wanted in a new apartment. Judy handled the sale of our old apartment achieving an outstanding price (which continues to be reaffirmed by recent sales) and worked with the coop board to get approval from a particularly difficult board for the purchaser, particularly in helping with the preparation of the board package. Working with our list of requirements for a new apartment, Judy called with what she felt was the perfect apartment for us, which it turned out to be and within two days had negotiated the purchase. She facilitated the preparation of our board package and made the process as simple as it could possibly be. We have nothing but the highest regard for Judy, her ability, her ethical standards, her commitment to her clients and not the least, her engaging personality. She was a delight to work with and we do not hesitate to recommend her to friends.
From the first time Judy picked us up to look at apartments in NYC, I knew that we were in good hands. She had listened to our requests and done her homework. It probably took three or four days of looking with Judy until we found our dream apartment. She did not waste our time by showing us places that did not meet our requirements (unlike other realtors we had worked with in the past). And, then, after our offer for the co-op was accepted, we discovered just how valuable Judy's knowledge is when it comes to navigating the arduous co-op approval process.
Bought a Townhouse home in 2006 for approximately $4.625M in Upper East Side, New York, NY.
I was new to New York city and Judy did a great job of showing us what our money could buy and explaining all the different building types here. We found the perfect place. She is excellent to work with and I would certainly recommend her to others.
