Today's real estate market is all about change. Last year we experienced multiple offers on most properties and extremely low inventory. Almost everything sold, and quickly. With the increase in prices and interest rates, buyers are a bit more discerning. They are taking more time to look for properties without the pressure of competition on most, but not all properties. Dare I say we are returning to a normal market?

Selling a property requires strategy. How does the house compare to others in the neighborhood?  Others in a similar price point?  Online data and news articles can be confusing when applied to a very local and fluid market. Whichever side of the equation you're on, a full-time dedicated real estate professional is a tremendous asset when navigating through these constantly changing market conditions.

With that understanding, I consistently strive to help reduce stress for my clients by being a ‘change agent'. Usually people get anxious or worried during times of change due to the unknown. To help alleviate that, I will candidly advise my clients during the course of our work together, with constant communication and updates about the market. They will hear about recent activity affecting their particular area. I will provide them with knowledge and preparation in anticipation of what for many, is their single largest financial investment. They can depend upon me to be a trusted advisor.

Real estate is my passion, and I approach each client situation with enthusiasm and professionalism. Being detail-oriented and a skilled facilitator, I coordinate the many parties necessary to complete a real estate transaction. As a trained negotiator, I work diligently to bring parties to mutual agreement. And as a past marketing director, I have the experience and skills to expertly develop a detailed marketing plan for selling a home.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $700K in Livermore, CA.

We met Karen at an Open House. We were thinking of putting our house on the market, but weren't quite ready yet. We were very impressed with her knowledge of the local market and she instilled confidence immediately. She stayed in touch, without any pressure. When we were ready, we called her. She presented a comprehensive market report on our house. She gave us excellent advise for staging our home and for competitive pricing. She demonstrated that she understood our needs and presented herself in the most professional manner. After staging, we held an open house and received 2 offers over our asking price. Bought a home in 2014 in Altamont, Brentwood, CA 94551.

Karen helped us buy our first house, in Livermore, and she was excellent. She answered all of our many questions and explained everything thoroughly. She was very detailed-oriented and kept track of everything well during a quick close (and I'm reasonably type-A myself). She works with integrity and definitely had our best interests in mind. She communicated well with the seller's agent to negotiate a good price for us, saving us a lot of money on the offer price and during closing. Karen clearly knows the Livermore market very well and seemed to be well-known and respected by the other agents, which makes everything go more smoothly.
