I began my career in real estate due to my experiences in buying and selling homes while being transferred around in the corporate world. Each time, I was disappointed in the different agent's knowledge, service, and follow through. I thought that there was something lacking in the approach of these agents in that none of them really went above and beyond to help me achieve my goals. I thought that if I were in the real estate business, I could really stand out as someone that took that service to a new level. In 1998, I decided to get my real estate license and learn everything I could about the buying and selling of homes to be of the greatest benefit to clients.

Since I began in real estate, I have represented clients in the purchase or sale of over 300 homes. I earned my CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) designations, which only about 4% of Realtors have, and cntinually educate myself by attending legal updates, classes of the array of contracts and addendums, marketing forums, and staying ahead by utilizing all the tools that today's technology has to offer. I am also an Accredited Staging Professional, and have the know-how to make your home show it's absoulte best to potential buyers.

When I work with a buyer, I am there for every step of the process, from writing up and explaining in detail the purchase offer and all related contract addendums, through the inspection process, the negotiation of any necessary repairs with the seller, and signing your closing paperwork.

If you're looking to sell your home, you can expect me to help you address any needed repairs or upgrades, staging, and other pre-sale concerns, market your home with the highest quality marketing materials and photographs, making sure that every available marketing resource is utilized, While your home is listed, I'll stay in constant communication, with feedback from other agents and potential buyers on their opinions, update you on market and financing issues, and work non-stop towards completing a successful sale.

      Property manage a Condo home in Concord, CA.
      Ken managed my condo at 1036 Oak Grove Rd. for about 7 years. During that time I had about 4 different tenants. Ken always got good tenants for me and made sure they payed their rent on time and obeyed the CCR's. When a tenant moved out it did'nt take him long to find another. He always kept me well informed by email of what was going on with my property. If something broke he would get someone in there to fix it promptly at a reasonable price. When it came time to sell my condo it only took 5 days for him to sell it. Overall I was very satisfied having Ken manage my property. I felt lucky to have him taking care of my property especially after trying to manage it on my own at first from 800 miles away. I would highly recommend Ken Jacobs to anyone in the Contra Costa Area who is looking for someone to manage their property or to buy or sell.       Bought a Townhouse home in 2014 for approximately $250K in Martinez, CA.
      Ken took me around to the different neighborhoods and helped me identify where I wanted to settle down. Then he showed me different homes in that neighborhood. The home that I settled on needed maintenance and Ken was able to recommend a painter, a cabinet man and a handy man. All of Ken's recommendations were good and repairs were made in a short time. Ken was there for every step of the way including repairs. Ken checked the progress even after closing. This move could have been difficult and stressful, but with Ken's help, it was enjoyable.
