Bought a home in 2011.Summary:
Kathryn listened well to my needs for my family, directing me in the course of my few days of availability, to the home that far and away met those needs.
Then she negotiated on my behalf and in my absence [ had to return to previous home in Cincinnati] , relentlessly working the seller [ Freddie Mac], sellers realtor, and my mortgage provider -- to move the process forward. She did this with personal appeals when necessary, and expedited the processes with digital signatures wherever possible.…More Less

Bought a Single Family home in 2010 in Concord, NC.Summary:
Kathryn was instrumental in my purchase. Since I was moving outside of her service area, she got me in contact with a local Realtor who was better able to match my needs to the area.
While working with the local agent, I often consulted with Kathryn, and she was always willing to give her thoughts.
After getting her advice on several properties, I settled on a foreclosure that needed some rennovation to be livable. The purchase process required several rounds of negotiation with the bank holding ownership, securing an unusual loan that enabled me to finance construction costs, and a lot of waiting.
Kathryn's knowledge is drawn from her wide range of experience and she was able to offer advice each step of the way through this uncommon and confusing process.
I'm very satisfied with my purchase and thankful for her help.…More Less

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $175k in Cape Carteret, NC.Summary:
Kathryn worked with us even after the house we bought was under contract with someone else and then contacted us. She was very professional. If she was unable to show us the house, she made sure another associate was there and we were always in contact with her. She met me several times to show me this property even when my sister came to town, she met us so I could show her the house. I would recommend her to anyone looking for property.…More Less

Realtor of the Year 2010!
On the beautiful Crystal Coast of NC. What can you do here? Boating, Fishing, Beaching, Golf, Kyaking, Jet Skiing, Walking, Biking, Hiking, Bird Watching, Historical Homes, Fort Macon, Festivals and more.
I love the small town atmosphere here in Emerald Isle. Near by towns include Swansboro, Morehead City, Beaufort, Cedar Point. We are less than a half hour drive to both marine bases at Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point.
I kyak in the sound. Walk the beach with my dog. Play with websites and computers. Go out on the boat with my husband and fish although that is more his thing than mine. He golfs well he's just taken up golf and once he is sure he's sticking with it I will give it a go.
Kathryn has been in real estate since 2000. She has worked for several airlines in the past and owned her own desktop publishing business before getting into real estate. Kathryn has called several cities home including Kansas City, Denver, Salt Lake City, Dallas, Houston, Amelia Island Florida, Caldwell NJ and Raleigh/Cary before landing at the Crystal Coast.
Her love of learning has led her to earn several designations: ABR Accredited Buyer Representative, CRS Certified Residential Specialist, ePro Internet Professional, PMN Performance Management Network, RSPS Resort Second Home Property Specialist, SFR Shortsale Foreclosure Resource, SRES Senior Residential Specialist and SRS Seller Representative Specialist.
These accomplishments represent her dedication to the profession and her clients. Prior to moving to the coast Kathryn was a member of the award winning Kelly Cobb Home Team, Fonville Morrissey, in Cary NC.

You may be familiar with the saying, "If you want something done give it to a busy person" .... well that would be Kathryn. To round out the picture just imagine a computer savvy gal with an easy smile who is often seen with her furry companion, Bonnie dog, and you have a good sense of Kathryn.
