Working with Meg and Kim was an absolute pleasure- they are extremely personable, polite, honest, knowledgeable and dedicated agents. I worked with them to find my first home purchase, a condo in the Chatham Glen- Briarwood-Coachlight condominium complex. Meg and Kim were extremely accommodating when it came to showing me properties I was interested in. Meg usually took me from place to place for showings. However, when Meg was away one weekend, Kim made herself available to show me two properties, even though Kim already had a full schedule of clients for that particular weekend. After touring each home, I never felt any pressure from them to purchase something. They encouraged me to only buy “something I loved.” Meg and Kim were honest and knowledgeable about the market value and demand of each property. Both Meg and Kim are extremely knowledgeable about the real estate industry as a whole and specialize in the Summit/Chatham, NJ area. Kim has over 25 years of industry expertise. Being that I was a first time home buyer, I had many questions about each home and the process. Meg and Kim responded to all of my e-mails extremely quickly and got back to me with detailed responses. Keep in mind, many of my questions were very specific, and required them to look up information and/or make phone calls on their part, which they did quickly and without hesitation. When I finally decided on a condo, Meg made herself available right away so I could put the offer in and explained every step of the process. Meg knew I was a serious buyer and wrote a letter on my behalf to the seller. I was very fortunate that I was selected to be the owner of my condo, as I was one of three bidders. The steps proceeding being chosen as the buyer to the closing date are numerous, complicated and require the cooperation of many parties (lawyer, bank, real estate agents, insurance companies, building inspectors, building assessors, etc.). Meg and Kim ensured that this process went smoothly and that deadlines were met by all parties. Two hours before I was supposed to close, Meg managed to resolve an issue that arose, due to the bank’s negligence, quickly and calmly. Two hours before the closing, my lawyer notified me that he still had not received the closing paperwork from the bank (even though the bank told me 3 days prior that everything was set on their end). After calling the bank, I was told there was an issue with the start date on the condominium insurance policy for my unit. My mortgage representative at the bank was unable to get in contact with the insurance company employee, and he gave up quickly on finding a solution. With persistence, Meg managed to get in contact with the woman at the insurance company and worked with the bank and my lawyer to get the issue resolved! If it wasn’t for Meg’s help and persistence, I wouldn’t have been able to close on time. Meg and Kim even bought me a house warming gift, which was extremely generous and thoughtful. To all future buyers, please know that you are good hands working with Meg and Kim. They are the best!

Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $500K in Morristown, NJ.

I know we have said this many times before but I will just say one last time since we have now officially closed. Meg, it was indeed a pleasure working with you! It was like you were the perfect fit for us. You see, we prefer to work with people who don't meddle in our decision making process or push us. You just diligently kept showing us new properties without expecting us to quickly make a decision. One could say it's just order of business and realtors are expected to be patient but I think it more demonstrates your great work ethic and professionalism. We appreciated that a lot! On top of this, your and Kim's help in keeping the process moving after we picked the property was key. We being first time home buyers had no idea about a bunch of things that you helped us with by providing recommendations etc. As a customer, I think this packaged service you offer as a team is very important. Honestly, when we began looking for houses we were actually questioning how a realtor could really be of use to us as everything is so easy and available online. That's why, if you remember, we were a little hesitant to pick you as a realtor as we just didn't see the value in it. Today, I'd thank my lucky stars that we found you both because now we know how much we needed help! It would've been really difficult to manage all that without your help. We had heard so many crazy stories about the hassles of home buying and especially closing, we just kept waiting to come across the crazy part and to our surprise, it never came. Sold a Condo home in 2015 for approximately $275K in Chatham, NJ.

It was wonderful working with Kim Carloto and her partner Megan Mullin. They were responsive, knowledgeable, and always courteous. They went above and beyond to accommodate and gain the trust of the tenant in my condo when I listed it for sale.
