Since I am military, stationed in Louisiana, Mrs. Craig and my brother did all the work. The pair drove all over Eastern North Carolina in search of my "perfect" home. In between training for a deployment, I found houses online, contacted Mrs. Craig and set appointments that would work for her schedule and my brother's. To add what would normally be another "problem" to this puzzle, my brother was 3 hours away from Eastern North Carolina in Virginia. The process was unbelievably easy, although I was about 1200 miles away, since Mrs. Craig was so accomodating. We communicated by all means-email, standard mail, fax and phone. We started our search in September and ended it in December when we recieved a phone call from Mrs. Craig and my brother. They thought they found "THE ONE". The house could be mine by Christmas! My husband and I started packing and preparing for closing. We were both nervous, as we were buying a house, sight, unseen except for internet pictures. I trusted my brother because he had experience buying and selling houses, as well, he knew what I'd like in "my" house. At this point, I also trusted Mrs. Craig. She always went above and beyond her "Call of Duty". She always called or emailed exactly when she said she would. She always explained things thoroughly, once, twice or three times if she needed since thoughts would sometimes get lost in a delayed email.
