Kirsten's formal education in real estate started with studies in real estate business in Hamburg, Germany and continued at the Academy of Economics, Schleswig-Holstein, West Germany, where she specialized in real estate economics and management.
Two years following the reunification of East and West Germany, Kirsten relocated from Hamburg to the new German capital, Berlin. Kirsten's career in Berlin flourished, where she successfully managed high profile historical real estate projects for German and American developers and investors. Notable projects under Kirsten's management included the Quartier 206 of Jagdfeld Friedrichstadt Passagen and the American Business Center at Checkpoint Charlie (the former East-West border crossing.) It was here that Kirsten honed her skills, as she was given the opportunity to work with the prestigious American architectural firm, Pei Cobb Freed & Partners as well as a host of other United States based business partners.
In 1998, Kirsten relocated to Southwest Florida where she continued to successfully and conscientiously develop her international real estate profession. Dealing with a vast client base in both residential and commercial real estate, Kirsten earned the prestige of becoming a Licensed Florida Real Estate Broker in the state of Florida. Soon thereafter Kirsten launched ACGR.
Kirsten now holds the distinct honor of dual German-American citizenship, obtaining her United States citizenship in April of 2006
