Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $325K in Kirkwood, Atlanta, GA.
Kirsten helped us purchase a home in 2014 and we really can't say enough good things about her. As a first time buyer the process can be daunting. You want a professional with experience who will help you make the right decisions and that is Kirsten. She educated us on the intown Atlanta neighborhoods that we were interested in and we learned a great deal from her about the types of houses and issues with this era of construction. After spending a couple weeks with her I found myself looking at houses in a completely different way. I will also add that she has excellent taste in design and we generated a lot of ideas for our future house from going to showings with her.
When it came time to make an offer we found ourselves in competition with other buyers. Her strategy was clever and helped us prevail without getting into an escalating bidding situation. I found her patience remarkable - she did a lot of hand-holding with us through the contract period since we had never been through this before. There are not a lot of people who can provide service at that level.
To sum it up Kirsten is really much more than a real estate agent - she's also one part designer, another part psychologist and even life counselor. Working with her made us appreciate how much difference a good agent can make - we feel great about our decision and owe it all to Kirsten.
We found Kirsten from one of her listings through Zillow. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We explained what we wanted and within a few days she was prepared to show us houses in all areas we requested. She gave honest feedback about resale values due to building materials, house locations, square footage, etc. She was never pushy, nor made decisions for us. However, she did keep us on schedule when she felt decisions were needed. She also helped is negotiate based on what would be fair to us, but also not sour the deal with the sellers. In the end, we found our dream home, but also gained a trusted ally. Kirsten even helped provide contacts for home improvements such as a flooring guy. I would recommend Kirsten to any of my friends looking to buy in the Metro ATL area.

Selling your home is one of the largest financial transactions you will make in your lifetime. It is a stressful time. For many of us, most of our net worth is in our primary residence. So the selling process demands our full attention … to make certain that we get the best price for our home.
Because most of us are not real estate professionals, the key ingredient to success is to find a good partner … a real estate partner.
Kirsten Conover was our real estate partner … and we had a very successful outcome. When Kirsten initially met with us she listened carefully to us and was very candid after hearing our expectations. She collaborated with us to affect the final improvements to our home to optimize its appeal. She offered cost effective staging ideas, recommending Kathy Nielsen of Atlanta Home Staging. Kirsten was always available for consultation when questions or challenges (last minute showings) came to the fore. She is knowledgeable of the market, sales strategy and all elements of residential real estate negotiation. Her understanding of the real estate closing process is comprehensive and made our closing experience more predictable when the unexpected wrinkle or question arose. We had lived in our home nearly eight years and put a lot of sweat and thought into its eventual renovation. Kirsten helped us present our home, sell our home and let go of our home, all within a relatively short sales cycle. If you are looking to sell your home, you should definitely speak with Kirsten before selecting an agent.

This is our second, amazing experience with Kirsten. We bought a house with her and recently sold that house. We were selling in a hot mkt and also selling a very old home with amazing upgrades. We had 5 contracts before selling!!! She was like our realtor/therapist. :) She was amazing! We could not have been happier. One thing to appreciate about Kirsten is that she knows how to get you the price you want and goes more than the extra mile to help with staging and contractors.

Kirsten spent an inordinate amount of time taking us all over the Atlanta metropolitan area. She was incredibly dedicated to us getting the house of our dreams. I got the sense that this was more than just a job for her; that she personally wanted to see that we were happy. When the right house came along, she was on top of it immediately. We are so happy in our new home and owe it to Kirsten.

Kirsten knew what it would take to make the most of our property sale in our area and with the local conditions. We was very pleased with her responsiveness -- especially as we negotiated on holidays and late at night. She also helped us keep a clear head on our new home purchase so we got the property that suited us the best at a great price.
Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $800K in Virginia Highland, Atlanta, GA.
If you're looking for a realtor in Atlanta I strongly recommend Kirsten Conover with Prudential. Due to relocation we needed to sell our house fast. After Kirsten's tweaks and marketing we had a full price offer in 5 days! I had talked to 7 realtors prior to finding her, some at length... all were nice and I'm sure great, but none had her energy or passion, they just wanted the listing - either over valuing for wow factor, or provided skewed data to under price so they could get a quick sale. Kirsten gave us a plan of what we need to do to sell and not leave a dollar behind at closing. Quite simply - she blew the competition away. I hired her the same day. She immediately got to work, helping us with light fixtures, accessories, paint colors and hardware; and afterwards brought in a great stager and photographer. She has impeccable interior design skills, knows the market, what type of people are house hunting in the neighborhood and what they want and expect. Through the entire process she was always 100% available - either via phone, text or email. Following our offer she successfully and painlessly navigated us through Inspection and Appraisal to the closing table. I know we wouldn't have got the same results without her and dread to think how it could have gone.

After having our house on the market for two years with very little activity, we decided to take it off the market. Soon after, I met Kirsten and started talking about where she lives and that she is a real estate agent. I asked her to come by the house and give us her professional opinion as to what we would need to do to the house when we decided to put it back on the market. Kirsten's first comment when she walked in the front door was that she was sorry because if the right steps were taken the previous two years the house was on the market, it would have sold quickly. Kirsten contacted the stager she works with to have her come over to give her expert opinion on what needed to be changed. She also had a professional photographer come over after all the stager's recommendations were completed and took several hours to photograph the house while Kirsten was present.
Kirsten then put the for sale sign up and posted all the amazing photo's on line. Whenever I needed her opinion on something she would take the time to come by, and whenever I called with questions she was very responsive, she went over and beyond. Kirsten worked hard to make things happen and they did! On the first week she brought us two offers and we had more traffic in that week then the previous two years combined. One of those two offers is now the owner. We were so thrilled with how smoothly she handled everything and negotiated the offers, that every chance I have had, and will have, I've given Kirsten' name out. I will continue to do so! Thanks Kirsten again for doing such an amazing job!
In late 2011 my husband and I needed to sell our rental property as quickly as possible. We were concerned about our success during such a rough economic period. A friend of ours recommended Kirsten because of her strong work ethic and aptitude for selling homes. When we first met Kirsten, we were struck by her forthrightness, confidence, and obvious experience in real estate. She recommended that we partially renovate the house and have it staged. This was not what we expected, but she explained in detail why this would be necessary in order to sell the house in a buyer's market, and she backed her suggestions up with her history of success. We decided to move forward: we renovated the house, staged it, and put it on the market. Kirsten stood by us and helped tremendously throughout the entire process, all the way through the closing. We were so relieved that the house sold in less than 3 months of being on the market! During the entire ordeal Kirsten kept in touch almost daily. She was always available for questions and support even late at night. We value her commitment, integrity, and now friendship. Thank you Kirsten for everything. Most of all for giving us hope during those times when we were ready to give up.
