Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Deville, LA.
Very informative and helpful. Worked with us for a while before we found our perfect home. Always able to reach Ms. Hickman and she was very willing to work around our schedules and find time for us. Would DEFINITELY recommend and if I ever need another agent I will definitely be giving her a call.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in Alexandria, LA.
I decided to place my home on the market and wanted a personable and honest agent. When inquiring among my friends, I received a recommendation of Margaret Hickman.
We met and had a frank, open visit about the prospects I could expect when placing my home on the market. Margaret was down to earth and very helpful with suggestions and expectations. I listed with Margaret and my home sold within six weeks. While showing my home (she always gave me plenty of notice so I could tidy up), Margaret searched for homes that met my criteria....price and location. A new home was found that pleased me. Within a month, I closed on my new home.
One important attribute of Margaret's is that she follows up with her clients. She was most helpful by sending me the information I needed in order to file taxes.
I am very happy to recommend Margaret!!

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $125K in Alexandria, LA.
My husband and I worked with a realtor who didn't meet our expectations. Then, we were referred to Margaret B. Hickman by a family member, and she exceeded our expectations!!! Margaret was very dependable and attentive during our home buying experience. She negotiated very well for us and we were so happy she was the one who helped us during our first time home buying experience. She showed us several homes, and she was very knowledgable about what to look for in a home. What impressed us the most was, a home came up on the market, and Margaret contacted us immediately. She was able to get us the first showing of the home, even during the holiday season. Needless to say, that home became the home we purchased. Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Dry Prong, LA.
We called Margaret on a property she had listed. This property did not meet our needs, but she found what we were looking for and sent us E-mails almost daily with current listings, new listings, price changes, etc. She was willing to go whereever we needed and do whatever she could do to help, finally showing us the property we purchased. (All was done without pressure at all.)

Bought a home in 2011.
Ms. Hickman is our buyer's agent in the purchase of our home on 424 Ocho Rios Drive in Pineville, La. She has been very professional and knowledgable about the real estate market in that and surrounding areas. We close on our house on Dec. 16th. and are very pleased and satisfied with Ms. Hickman's expertise. We would definitely use her again if the need ever arose, and highly recommend her to anyone wanting to purchase or sell a home or property.

Sold a Single Family home in 2008 for approximately $250K in Alexandria, LA.
Margaret was the second realtor we used. Our first realtor was not attentive to our requests and not aggressive in selling our home. We then tried to sell our home by owner without success. During this time we received an email from Margaret about her desire to sell our home. At first we ignored her first correspondence, but she was persistent and sent a letter after a month offering her services. We decided later to meet with her and was very impressed with her demeanor and knowledge. She was able to get a very good price for our home and it sold much quicker than we anticipated as it was a slow time in the housing market. Margaret is very professional, motivated, aggressive, intelligent, experienced and attentive. Margaret also goes the extra mile---she treated us not only as her clients but also as friends. If we ever have housing needs in the CENLA area again, we will most definitely use her services. We highly recommend Margaret for your real estate needs. Jim and Darlene Doss
