Sold a home in 2012.
I've owned a piece of investment property in Beverly for several years and decided to sell it. The property
needed a lot of work in order to get it ready to sell. Kenny and his team of contractors handled it all from start
to finish, including painiting, window replacement, installing bath fixtures, new appliances, staging and professional photography. I couldn't believe all the work he did. And I barely lifted a finger. Wish he was my agent when I bought it!

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in Peabody, MA.
My only wish is that I could give Kenny 10 stars across the board.
I am the executor of my parent’s estate in Peabody MA. The only problem is that I live in Japan, 7,000 miles away.
Kenny was introduced to us through our lawyer. Besides his professionalism, at our first meeting, about 20 minutes in, I felt like I was talking to an older brother or an uncle. (This is no act; it is just Kenny’s nature.)
Of course after almost 20 years in the business, he has all the answers. But this being my first time selling a property I had many questions. He answered each one politely and professionally, regardless of my ignorance.
He told us exactly what we had to do to bring a 48 year old property to market. Not only that, he has contractors and sub contractors he uses consistently. All of them are professional, show up on time, doing the work on time or ahead of schedule, and their prices are quite reasonable. (Some of them even gave me a hand doing things that were not in their job description.)
The bottom line… I can sleep soundly each night knowing Kenny is taking care of things. If you are selling a property straight out, or if the property needs to be tweaked with a little TLC for sale, Kenny should be your number one choice.

Sold a Condo home in 2007 for approximately $250K in Danvers, MA.
Kenny helped us sell our Condo in Danvers and what a world of difference a great realtor is!
From staging to marketing I am confident we couldn't of gotten the deal we did without his help.
Wish he was in TN when we needed to buy!

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in Lynnfield, MA.
My 84 year old Mother was selling her home and of course did not like Realtor's. I knew Kenny MacCarthy was a Realtor, but I did not know how good he is. He met with Mom and walked her through the steps we would need to take to get this important job done. Kenny coached us on how to prepare our property, and we did what we had to do for a smooth sale. The house sold in one week after just 8 showings. Kenny paid attention to detail in every aspect of this deal. He got the most money possible for Mom's house! I would HIGHLY recommend Kenny for your Real Estate needs. He is honest, hard working, and a great guy.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Haverhill, MA.
My family was helping my sister purchase a condo in the Gloucester area. We met Kenny at the first place we looked, and he showed us a few other places as well. We immediately liked working with him. He is very knowlegdeable, honest, and has a great sense of humor, which I found to be fabulous. We chose a "bank owned" property, which can take some time to finalize. Kenny didn't let the parties involved get out of hand.....he kept after everyone to get the deal done, and it got done! I would definitely go to Kenny again as my agent....it was a great experience and we were lucky to have found him.

Bought a home in 2012.
Mr. MacCarthy is a great real estate agent to look to especially if you are looking to buy at "The Heights" in Cape Ann (Gloucester, Mass). He has been very knowledgable in that particular building and my family had noticed this about him as well.
He has a great attention to detail and is on top of things with communications to any upates in all emails or any type of communication as well.

Sold a Condo home in 2010 in Rockport, MA.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $700K in Rockport, MA.
Kenny deserves 5 stars in EVERY category! He has intimate knowledge of Cape Ann and was able to sit down with us and better understand what we were looking for in a retirement home. Once we worked through that process, Kenny targeted the exact types of homes and locations we were interested in.
He also has a sense of humor, which is beneficial in buying a home. His "not the one" deadpan comments when we inquired about a listing that didn’t meet our requirements were funny. Once we located "the one", Kenny provided the negotion skills necessary to get the fairest price for the property while ensuring we had an attractive offer.
Although we anticipated a stressful process, to our surprise quite the opposite happened. We wholeheartedly recommend Kenny to anyone looking to buy or sell property.

Buying and selling real estate is a difficult process in the best of times. Kenny assisted my wife and I with a sale in Nov2010 in a difficult market at a difficult time of year to sell property. While I can't guarantee that your house will get multiple full-price offers within a day, I can tell you that Kenny will give you solid advice and coaching through the entire process.
In fact, when I recently was having difficulty with a property purchase on the west coast, where I now live - I greatly missed his counsel... so much that I ended up calling him for his opinion.
