Zillow is a decent tool for getting general, tax assessment-based estimated values, researching tax info, recently sold information and finding some listings for sale. Just goes to show that the internet cannot replace a knowledgable, local, real estate professional. If you want a competent, valuation of your property - call a Realtor. (And we give free, INFORMED, no-obligation comparative market reports.) PS. Soon, sold information will be allowed to be posted on broker web sites - so you'll soon be able to find ACCURATE info on your favorite agent's site!
Sorry to disagree, but this is so much easier to navigate for me! I thought the old format was a mangled mess and hard to find anything. Of course, I was relatively new to it, so wasn't married to the format. Honestly, I felt lost before and now I can find my way around much better. And I like the notification option - I just started using it at Trulia and it helps me keep in touch if I forget to check in with the 20 different sites I seem to be on these days! I REALLY like the state/city drilldown. I like to answer local questions more than national questions. The local expert award is a great idea, too!
I agree with mrfnuts about the post reply thing - it took me a second to realize that the reply box was way at the bottom. You could put a reply button at the bottom, too or move the text box to open at the top, right under the reply button.Of course, after one post I realized that is what it did and knew to scroll down again. But a reply button at the bottom would be nice, because I was at the bottom of the page after reading posts, scrolled to the top to hit " post reply" and then had to scroll to the bottom again to write my comments!
Any real estate professionals/realtors in Wisconsin?!
