My father passed away with his home having been ignored for 40 years. Lauri Gross had the assignment of advising on the market place, time, and most importantly what steps we should take to best prepare the home for sale. Her vision and advice were exceptional. Lauri then had the job of properly setting the asking price and positioning the property for sale. (Too high and you would scare away the pool of real potential buyers and too low and you would not attract an appropriate final sales price. To set the asking price right requires someone who truly understands where the market is, what factors will influence it over the next 6 months and thus where the market will be throughout the sales process. And most importantly how all of that applies to the property you are selling taking into account all relevant factors including location, condition, potential, etc..) Her marketing acumen was excellent and her outstanding execution produced substantially more interest, viewership and pursuing potential buyers than other similarly situated properties were experiencing. This was a direct result of the way she worked to discover, inform, and interest prospective buyers from a broad cross section of categories and geographic areas. Lauri was instrumental over time in creating a bidding competition between four potential interest buyers. Her knowledge and experience, including knowing how to work with the other agents and their potential buyers, resulted in our receiving the best available price for my father’s home and substantially more than anticipated. Her professionalism, dedicated hard work, expertise, and thoughtful handling of all aspects of the transaction were at the very highest level and should be rated as “out performs expectations.”

Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $1.025M in Wilmette, IL.

Laurie really listens and understands the process of buying and selling real estate. She sold my house and represented me on a purchase of a condo. Laurie gave her heart and soul on each transaction. She has a flare for interior decorating as well as a strong mathematical sense of market conditions. Laurie made the process as enjoyable as it could be, though I am glad both transactions were completed on the timetable I set out.
