Leigh Brown and Associates had recently sold a home in our neighborhood and we were impressed with their professionalism and speed at which they sold that home. When we contacted them, they replied promptly and were quick to do the comps and come back to us with ideas on how to sell our home (it had been listed with a neighbor/realtor for the previous 6 months and hadn't sold). It's amazing what a transformation our home made thanks to their suggestions to paint all the dark trim and paneling in the den and kitchen white and to replace our dated ceiling fans and bathroom fixtures. The final advice that I truly think helped sell our home was the staging of the entire first floor (the house was empty as we had moved to another state). Then their professional photography of all rooms as well as enticing descriptions were top notch! Their notification system re: showings and the feedback was always prompt and helpful and they never pushed us to reduce the price. We would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their home!

Listed, but didn't sell my home in 2015 in Roberta Mill, Concord, NC 28027.

I recently contacted this agency thinking that I was in good hands due to the reviews. I was going to put my house up for sale and was also doing some home shopping for a family member. I had set up an appointment with the listing agent as well as the buyer's agent to get everything done in one place. As soon as I finished with the buyer's agent and the "mortgage" company they used, I got an email from the listing agent stating that he is cancelling the appointment to list my house because he spoke to the buyer's agent regarding my family member's home buying situation. What does that have to do with me listing my home for sale? I'm not so sure. Two totally different situations and he pretty much cancelled because of "his conversation with the buyer's agent". I thought to myself that there are 2 different people doing 2 different things and both are unrelated. Well I'm glad to see that they were NOT a match for us because of their inability to "discuss facts" with their potential clients.

As both a former client, and a former radio producer, I would do testimonial commercials for Leigh! She and her firm are the Real (Estate) Deal.

Our agent, Lawrence Mahool, gave great, *realistic* advice on what would get the home sold — right pricing, right staging, right repairs, etc.. We took most of it, replacing worn carpet, trimming overhanging trees, cleaning as needed, de-cluttering, restoring our living room to a living room from its role as an office...

The young photographer, Danielle (?) did a great job capturing the house\'s many attributes and getting a good selection on the web.

The house was under contract, WITH A SECOND OFFER WAITING IN THE WINGS, in less than 24 hours officially on the market! It was shown *only twice,* that I\'m aware of! Getting two offers from two showings, on the first day it was available to show, was not something we were entirely prepared for!

Leigh Brown did a great job while Lawrence was on vacation, walking me through the negotiation process, and helping us get a signed contract. We got just about what we expected we would get.

Leigh Strickland did a great job helping us with the details approaching the close.

There were numerous complications associated with the BUYERS\' situation (selling their home, their buyers\' financing and closing timing, financing the purchase of ours, title search, etc.). Our buyers also wanted numerous inspections beyond the first one. So we settled the entire transaction about 22 days later than anticipated.

Leigh Brown\'s team did their part to make the entire process as smooth as possible, even when the buyers were delaying the process with hiccup after hiccup. We are happy to have the place sold, and would recommend Leigh\'s team to anyone.

Sold a home in 2014.

I specifically worked with Lawrence Mahool who is an agent with Leigh Brown's team. He was outstanding. I listed a home in Myers Park on Zillow on a whim. The home was tenant occupied for the next 60 days so I knew I would have my challenges if anyone actually wanted to see it. Well they did, I received 32 phone calls and emails that weekend, so many that I took down the listing.

I got back with each of the 32 contacts, some individuals and some Realtors. Only Lawrence was proactive. Responded that his client may be willing to place an offer which bought the house and the tenant's lease as they really wanted that location. Of course I said sure, bring me an offer.....and he did. We reached an agreement and the deal was closed in 30 days.

Interestingly I received a call from one realtor asking about the status and she responded by saying I should have called her as she would have probably gotten over the asking price from her client. As I shared with Lawrence, his handling of the transaction is what separates a professional from the rest of the pack. He was creative and got the deal done.

I am sure some will say well you priced it too low. Maybe but I doubt it as it was at the top of the market for what was selling in that neighborhood. Besides, Lawrence had a cash offer with no contingencies. My belief is take the best deal that makes sense rather than waiting for the dream offer. In this case, I am happy and so are the buyers. Their agent did his job--Thanks Lawrence.

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $150K in Concord, NC.

In 2011 we sold our home in PA to relocate to NC. Our home sold much sooner than we expected which left us scrambling to find a house in NC. I found Leigh's website and contacted her. I had been reviewing real estate online and had a list of homes I wanted to see. The one home I was most interested in went under contract the same day I looked at it before I was ready to make an offer. Leigh discouraged me from looking at some of the other homes on my list because she was aware of "problems." Leigh showed me three other homes she thought would meet our needs and one was a perfect fit for my husband and I. Every time our son, who lives in the area, comes into our home, he comments how much he likes the house and how glad he is that this is the home we chose. I feel Leigh was very honest and more concerned about finding us the right house than just making a sale. I also felt Leigh gave me the same advice she would give to a family member. I highly recommend her.
