Selling a Home Each home we list has a unique marketing plan developed to make the home compete against the other choices on the market.  I work closely with my sellers to help them "think like a buyer" when preparing their homes for sale. I won't list a house without professional photography and staging. I'm now incorporating virtual staging into our program.

The hub of our listing syndication strategy is our award-winning Bairdwarner.com, the number one broker site in northern Illinois. My listings are featured with premier subscriptions on the nation's leading search sites Realtor.com, Zillow.com and Trulia.com. High-end luxury home listings  are presented on the specialty websites like Luxuryportfolio.com and Regents.com.

Buying a Home  Because the right neighborhood is so important to our quality of life, I take the time to help buyer clients determine the best communities for their lifestyle. One of my specialties is working with relocation clients.

Before helping clients present an offer, I prepare a detailed market analysis of the home. The way I write up an offer, with lots of data and details, goes a long ways to help the seller and the seller's agent accept our pricing and terms.

I encourage my clients to use whatever search product they prefer, so I can work easily with Realtor.com, Trulia.com or Zillow.com. Mobile apps are important and the Zillow app is great.

Technology Before turning to real estate I worked in technology marketing for ten years. As Director of Marketing for Andersen Software I launched product lines in multiple countries and worked with professionals from a wide variety of cultures.

My interest in real estate came through working for a custom home builder. In addition to managing project schedules and budgets, I had the opportunity to make clients' visions a reality by sourcing unusual products from around the world.

I'm a dedicated blogger and write about the activities, events, and places that make the Fox Valley an exceptional place to live.

Sold a home in 2014.

Terrific experience working with Leslie and team. As inexperienced sellers/buyers it was important that we work with an agent willing to slow down the process, explain the what/why and answer our many questions. Leslie was easy to work with, very knowledgeable, and in general made us feel at ease with everything. Working with Leslie and team to update and stage our home helped us get an acceptable offer within one week of listing, which allowed us to move quickly on purchasing a home that had already been on the market...without that quick sale, our new home might not have been around when we were ready to make a move. Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $100K in Elgin, IL.

Paul provided excellent insight to the location we purchased our home in. Also, he was mindful of our home being resold in the future. We are first time home buyers and Paul walked right through every step of the way. He kept on top of all parties involved which allowed us to close in 30 days.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $150K in Elgin, IL.

Anyone who has experienced the frustration of moving can understand the pain of working with people who aren't honest and don't listen to your needs when you're looking for a new house. Well - then you meet Paul. He is the diamond in the rough! He was very receptive to helping me, and always flexible with my schedule when I had to change times. He was very nice and very patient with me. Most of all, Paul is so honest - and that is more than I can say for many others, He is trustworthy. He listened to my needs, and presented me with a wonderful house that I did, indeed, love as he said I would.

Paul is the best. I am picky, too...I highly recommend him and will use him again when the time comes.
