After reading the negative reviews here on Zillow about Linda Fennell, my husband and I both felt the need to voice our opinion of her. First off, we completely agree with the negative reviews, as that was our unfortunate experience with her as well. *Side note: Typical of Linda to respond by blaming the seller in her response to her negative reviews. We interviewed three real estate agents before listing our home and decided on Linda because she appeared to be knowledgeable and professional, she talked a very good game. We were completely fooled. Once you sign the 6 month contract for the listing, you are stuck with her. A valuable lesson we learned here is to never sign more than a 90 day contract with any realtor. We asked her several times through email and text, (because she would not respond to phone calls), to end the contract due to extreme customer dissatisfaction, she rudely refused. She does not return phone calls, did occasionally text and was completely evasive during the process. She was argumentative, insulting, and most times disrespectful to the homeowners, her clients. She will evaluate your home at one price and thirty days later will suggest a significant price reduction about 50K less than the original evaluated price. She claims she spent 75k a year on marketing, if you are considering this agent be sure to get clarification on exactly how she spends the 75K on marketing. She marketed our home in a movie theatre outside the target area, used unprofessional photos, a broken flyer box, and a beat up yard sign. For clarification purposes, she did sell our home, however it was the most painful home selling process we have ever encountered in our history of selling homes and we have sold many. In summary, if you are looking for a difficult to deal with agent that puts her clients interests behind those of a buyers, she is your agent! I would love to write a review on the Century 21 website, however unfortunately reviews are by invitation only, how convenient!
