Maggie masterfully negotiated our purchase of a home that we wanted to buy, but which was not listed for sale. She was a pleasure to work with and extremely accessible. With skill, she realistically priced properties so they could be sold in a difficult market. She is extremely attentive and responsive.…More Less

05/20/2011 - Robb SwanSold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $825K in Laurelhurst, Seattle, WA.
Maggie demonstrated excellent knowledge and insight into the current marketplace. She also understood the area that we sold our house and the potential client demographic. Maggie was very detail oriented and helped us sell our house based on the timing, audience, and ultimately found prospects to purchase our house. I suggest anyone thinking of putting their house on the market should use Maggie Weissman to list it and it will sell.…More Less

While not a native, I have lived in Seattle since 1985 and know the city well. I have lived and worked in many places: born & raised in Montana; educated in Montana, Chicago & NYC; worked in Montana, NYC & Seattle; Peace Corps volunteer in Malaysia. I have well beyond a master's degree and have taught in public high schools, been a high school assistant principal and run a retail business.
My reason for going into real estate was to bring all this together to work with people individually, find what they want or sell what they no longer want and let them get on with their lives. My aim is to satisfy my clients beyond their expectations and let them think the process is easy. I well know that it is hard enough to live through the process of selling a house or worrying about what to buy.
I live in northeast Seattle, my kids have gone to the public schools in the area and I am active in community affairs. My husband owns and operates a Great Harvest Bread Company bakery in the Lake Forest Park neighborhood (I used to run one in Seattle). I've got a dog, of course, 2 kids, 3 step-kids and a bunch of grandkids. I like to ski, walk, go to the beach at Birch Bay and used to run and play soccer.
And, of course, buy and sell houses for you.
