Mark and his wife Janet have owned and lived in homes in the historic neighborhoods of White City and Swan Lake. The home in Swan Lake was extensively renovated and now is operating as a successful bed and breakfast the Inn at Woodward Park. Mark had a successful thirty year career in accounting with various manufacturing companies progressing to level of controller. He has always been interested in Real Estate and four years ago made a career change to pursue this passion specializing in the historic neighborhoods in Tulsa.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $100K in Brady Heights, Tulsa, OK.

When I first called Mark I told him I had a few houses that I had found online that I was ready to look at. Within hours we were looking at the first one. My husband and I wanted an older home in either Brady Heights or Owen Park. Mark is very knowledgeable about the area and older homes. I really felt like he was 100% on our side. He pointed out things about the house we looked at that I wouldn't have noticed otherwise...both the positive and the negative things.

After looking at a few houses, I thought that there weren't anymore houses in the neighborhoods that I wanted to live in that fit my description when Mark had me look at a house that I had overlooked. It initially didn't seem like it would be big enough for us but Mark pointed out that the house had a full 7 foot unfinished basement that potentially could be the difference in size that we were looking for. On the listings online they don't usually list the basement in the square footage, so every time I saw the listing I thought the house was too small. Oh and that house was also next door to a good friend of ours too!

This was the house that we chose and closed on. The basement is now finished with a 1.5 bath and game room and we are completely in love with the house and the neighborhood. It's also a wonderful Stickley style bungalow with a lot of charm and beautiful original wood.

Bought a home in 2009.

I was looking for a mid century modern 1950s home that needed some updating but hadn't had a lot of changes made to it. Mr. Mobbs has great knowledge of different neighborhoods in Tulsa and was able to show me several homes in different prices ranges.I was able to purchase just the home I wanted. It has had one owner that was willing to sell at a below market price.  More Less
