Sold a home in 2014.

Communication. Mark's communication abilities are outstanding and absolutely refreshing! Mark always listened very closely to my thoughts and concerns; did not interrupt me mid-sentence; clearly demonstrated having understood me utilizing feedback techniques; expresses his thoughts clearly, concisely and professionally; and very often, helped me think through the best ways to handle various situations.

Analogous to the criticality of "Location!, Location!, Location!" to selling a house; "Available!, Available!, Available! was one of the most important aspects of working with Mark. When I needed to communicate with Mark about any particular item or issue, he was readily available.

Excellent job helping me decide what work was worthwhile, and what was not, in preparing my house for sale. Same for advice on what items/furniture/clutter to clear out of every room to stage house for showings. Helped me prioritize the remaining tasks, and pushed me to get on the market in ~2 weeks rather than my initial goal of 1-2 months.

I was very pleased with how helpful Mark was in not only scheduling the requisite inspectors, contractors and companies for both transactions, but his willingness to be onsite as required. His schedule was never the reason a given appointment could not occur. This was particularly valuable to me considering I am the only person in the household, and I work full time.

Scheduling showings, and communicating requests for the same went quite smoothly and was very easy. I appreciated his sending copies of the feedback from buyers/realtors as soon as he received it.

Strategy. I really appreciated Mark's keen ability to help plan a response or course of action on many fronts, especially during contract and pricing negotiations.

Running down the details. Mark was an asset in ensuring all the requisite deliverables and paperwork were in place prior to closing. Items like the requisite County Water/Septic approval, addendum work and contractual sign-offs.

I will simply add, that at the end of the day, Mark is a very effective professional, yet a neat/fun person to work with and be around in general. I could not have asked for a better Realtor, or a better person to represent and assist me through the entire set of processes.

Sold a home in 2014.

It was a great experience working with Mr. Stratton. Mark went above and beyond to make sure our house was sold and our dream house was purchased. My husband could be considered hard to work with and a special client. Mark always took the time to explain to him what was going on in the tedious process and he endured the blunt of the stress associated with buying and selling homes. I was 6 months pregnant when we listed our house. Our house was sold in 54 days and we moved into our new house 2 weeks before I gave birth to my second child. Mark did an exceptional job given the strict timeframes we were currently under. I would recommend Mark Stratton to anyone looking to buy or sell a house.  More Less

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $175K in Lakewood, OH.

Mark was very easy to work with, he quickly understood what I was looking for in a house and neighborhood. Mark was also quick to show me new listings and made the whole process fun. I would recommend Mark to anyone looking to buy or sell, he knows his stuff and is a true professional.
