Always thinking outside the box is what sets Marshall Walker apart from the typical real estate broker. He recently completed the renovation of a 1940's era Texaco gas station on the Charleston Peninsula near Hampton Park into a sales office.
"Investing in my immediate community was a priority," Walker says. "Today I've completed the environmental cleanup of an old gas station and renovated it to house a neighborhood gathering space and real estate office where people can come to hang out, search the Internet for homes and visit with our sales staff, in the future we will also offer cafe items for sale."
Situated on the corner of Rutledge Avenue and Race Street, Walker's office touts a large open space with a coffee bar and comfortable seats. Walker even incorporates a CSS farmers market pickup on Tuesdays to help provide local residents with an alternative within biking and walking distance of their homes.
"We are investing heavily in expanding our business and growing our team." However he clarifies "It's not Bigger, Bigger, Bigger ~ it's about Better, Better, Better"
