The Baggett Property Group was stellar in helping me negotiate the purchase of my first home. It was a recently renovated project, and Matt, and his wife Marla, were thorough in making sure that I was taken care of during the process. They were very patient with all of my phone calls and viewing requests, and seemed not only receptive, but interested in my questions. You can't go wrong with these guys!
I normally don't take the time to write reviews like this but happened to see Matt Baggett's name online and felt obliged to share part of my buying experience...
I hired Matt as my realtor earlier this year, April 2013, for a new construction home purchase in East Nashville. My home is what they call a 'horizontal property regime', which just means it's technically connected to a nearly identical, adjacent home and on the same lot. At Matt's insistence, we requested a good number of items to be repaired or done, at the builder's expense, as a condition of our closing. All items were completed to my satisfaction and I only mention this because my neighbors, who did not use Matt, still have the deficiencies that I no longer have. I credit Matt's skillful negotiating, along with his razor sharp, realtor-wife, Marla, for my ultimate satisfaction with my new home.
Aside from the above story, Matt & Marla are just nice people and knowledgeable in general about real estate and the overall process of buying and selling a home. I learned that Matt has a background in building, to boot, which seemed to prove useful when dealing with the contractor.
