Realtor (10 years experience)
Matt worked extensively with my wife and I in 2008 when we purchased our first home. We had never been through the home buying process before and he helped us out every step of the way. He navigated us through a downward trending housing market. Matt was patient and diligent with us to make sure we found the right house, while taking into account future home values, and where the market was going. This proved to be invaluable and we were so pleased with Matt’s expertise and professionalism.

We recently purchased our second home and of course worked with Matt again. This time our latest purchase was a hobby farm. Just like before, Matt was honest, professional and incredibly easy to work with. He never rushed, pressured, or miss led us. Both times we purchased a house; Matt went above and beyond to make sure we got the right property for the best price.

We have recommended him to friends and family. We will also use him in the years to come.

Matt truly stands out and has your best interest in mind.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $100K in Standish, Minneapolis, MN.
Matt helped us find our home 2 years ago. He was very friendly, on time, helpful, knowledgeable and worked hard for us to find just the right house. Matt has a great sense of humor and made us feels comfortable. He worked around our busy schedules and respected our time by showing us just the houses that might be good candidates for us. He did such a good job I am not sure we will ever move. When we do, I know we'll call him again.
Matt spent a year with my wife and I as we struggled to find a home that met of all our needs and wants. Yes, we were picky, and went through some life changes that allowed our criteria to expand (and ultimately start us all over).
Throughout the 100 or so homes we looked at, Matt was always fun to be with, patient, informative, and made us feel comfortable as we dealt with the highs and lows of search for a home.
I cannot thank Matt enough for his strong work ethic, professionalism, and eagerness to find us the home we live in today. I would and will continue to recommend him to anyone I know looking for their own.

My husband and I recently hired Matt Lunde to sell my townhome and to purchase a single family home. Matt met all of our expectations and more. I would recommend Matt to anyone looking to buy or sell a home or even just to help you explore your options.
Matt came over to help stage the townhouse for photos and showings. Then Matt hired a professional photographer to take photos of the townhouse to drive more traffic in the number of showings we had. In a short period of time we had over 75 showings.
The townhouse was a short sale, and that often can create a lot of headaches for the seller and confusion with all of the paperwork needed. Matt and his team made the process seamless for me. I felt like it was a “cake walk” and I never stressed about it at all. I provided the paperwork needed to Matt and they took take of the rest.
When it came time to sell the townhouse, the original buyer backed out. Matt was very professional and went to war for his client and was not afraid to the confrontation with the other realtor. Matt was driven and focused and in the end a new buyer came forth and bought the townhouse.
When my husband and I were ready to look at single family homes, Matt put our interest first. He sent us homes to look at daily, and we choose what ones to go look at. While at the homes, Matt helped us to both see the “big picture” in case we missed something. It is very easy to do when you look at homes – Matt would point out things good and bad that would help us make a clearer decision. When we decided which house we wanted again, the process was not simple. But once again, Matt was very professional and went to war for his clients. He was persistent in getting what we deserved and in the end we did get the home of our dreams.
Both the realtor that represented the buyers of the townhome and the home we bought were not as professional as Matt was. One realtor did not prioritize their clients nor have a sense of urgency losing their client’s down payment on the house. The other realtor did not work smart for his clients losing out on his own commissions because of his lack of knowledge and network to do the right thing for all parties involved.
Through all of this, it was very clear to my husband and I just how amazing Matt Lunde is at what he does. If Matt does not know the answer, he has a very strong network of people that he gets the right answer. I could go on and on of all the great things about Matt, but I am going to leave you with a list of things that I feel are important in a realtor that Matt is.
· Specialized in his field
· Thick skinned
· Has a sense of urgency
· Puts clients interest 1st
· Great at prioritizing work
· Sees the “Big Picture”
· Professional with appearance and conduct
· Works smart not just hard
· Will go to war for his clients and not afraid of confrontation
· Persistent – not pushy
· Extremely organized
· Excellent network
· Great communication skills
· Always responds back within just a few hours – never have to call twice waiting for him to reply
My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Matt. Next time you are looking into your options or find yourself in a situation where you need to buy or sell a home, please know one thing: Not all realtors are the same. Do your research, you will be happy you did.

Matt is a talented Real Estate Professional. His level of service and knowledge are unsurpassed. We never felt pressure from Matt and always felt comfortable in the process, knowing that he had our best interest in mind.
Matt has a great philosophy in helping individuals (including us) find the perfect home. He recognizes the fact that most people need to have a relationship with their Real Estate Professional more than once in their lives, and sincerely fosters the relationships accordingly.
What impresses us the most about working with Matt is that he has the utmost knowledge, integrity and honesty. This was evident when he gave us his opinion on many of the homes we visited. He didn't think that many homes were a good fit for us from what we initially discussed. Matt went out of his way to understand us by listening in order to make the appropriate recommendations.
Finally, Matt is a model of what Real Estate Professionals should be measured against. If you have an experience similar to ours, it will be all positive!
Thanks for finding us a great home that we will enjoy for many years Matt!
We made the decision to start looking at homes in November 2011. We approached Matt about our interest & he suggested we get together to talk about the entire process. We had a lot of questions as first time home buyers & he made us feel at ease with everything we asked, even the "I know I should know this" questions. We deceided to actively start searching at the beginning of January 2012. Matt provided us with a long list of properties within the areas/price range we requested. We wer were able to look @ pictures, detailed map of the area & price range. We would select our favorites & veto ones we knew we knew were not of interest. Matt set up a day & scheduled to go look at the properties we were interested in. The next few months consisted of finding out what we did & didnt want in a home. We learned a lot by looking @ many styles of houses & Matt helped point out pluses & flaws with different styles & neighborhoods. We decided to put in a offer on a house on a Saturday night. Matt had a counter offer for us that same night & continued to keep us updated as the night progressed. By Subday afternoon we had a verbal acceptance. From the signing to closing everything went without a hitch & Matt was very helpful & explained things in a easy to understand way. We have been in our house since April & could not be happier with our new home & our Realtor.
Matt helped my husband and I get our first home. Matt was very patient with us, being first time home buyers we had no idea what to look for, but Matt made it very easy for us. There were a couple times we were disappointed, but Matt was always positive. I remember Matt asking me if I was desperate for a house, because the house we were looking at was not worth the asking price. My husband and I did find our perfect house, and I thank Matt for helping us. I would recommend Matt to anyone looking for a home. Matt genuinely cares about his clients.

Matt was my real estate agent this past spring and summer (2012) when I began looking for my first home. While showing the houses to me he was very good about pointing out issues and qualities, in not only the house but also the neighborhood. He had a great Idea of what I was looking for after meeting with him the first time. I tried to make his job difficult by having standards beyond my budget, yet He found me a house that is working out quite well. I highly recommend Matt to any one looking for a house in the minneapolis area.

When the year was finally right, Matt was helpful in setting up properties to look at, pointing out pro's and con's in each, and was patient while we looked around. Once we decided on a house, he provided guidance on what to do but was good about not trying to push us one way or the other when making an offer and left the end decision up to us. When asked for input, he did a good job of providing his recommendation. I've known Matt for a long time and know he can be trusted to provide good guidance. I recommend him whether buying or selling.

While house hunting, Matt showed me items of concern for the value of the home that I would have normally overlooked or not noticed. I would have selected the 2nd or 3rd home I looked at if it were not for his expert eye, which was not the best home for my family! Once you find the home you like, Matt is an impressive negotiator, among many other qualities. Thank you so much - I would not use any other Realtor other than Matt. He is patient, honest, wise, and ethical. I would recommend him to the following kinds of clients: buyers, sellers, or those who are unsure they are ready for either yet.
