My husband and I were first-time homeowners. We were somewhat intimidated when we started our search due to Seattle's hot market (e.g. stories of multiple all cash offers, no contingencies, and other craziness). From the moment we met Matt, our fears and hesitations about the process went away, and it became fun. Matt always made himself available, despite our hectic schedules. I was most concerned about feeling pushed into decisions I wasn't ready for when we started, but Matt was respectful and patient. He knew exactly what we were looking for (older homes in walkable neighborhoods with an easy commute) and has a fabulous eye. He is also very familiar with home improvements and gave us accurate estimates of what it would cost us to make changes to a home we liked. Once we found the house we loved, Matt guided us through the process with an expert hand. He answered all of our questions and described multiple plans of attack and what they would entail. We always felt properly informed and confident that Matt was working in our best interests. Our closing was stress-free and exciting. We love our new home and neighborhood. I absolutely loved working with Matt and as I told my husband, "Anyone who doesn't use Matt is an idiot!"

Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $500K in Ravenna, Seattle, WA.

Matt is the man! Buying a home for the first time is tough. Seattle's competitive multiple offer scenario adds to that anxiety. We consider ourselves lucky that we called Matt to help us with our purchase. Bought a Condo home in 2014 for approximately $325K in Phinney Ridge, Seattle, WA.

Matt was incredible! We met him relatively late in the process of purchasing our first home. Many brokers would have gone through the motion of getting to know us - we had already found our future home - with a focus on closing the deal. Not Matt. He went out of his way to get to know us and was a constant advocate through a sometimes-tricky process. His level of candor was refreshing and kept us focused.

We've found ourselves describing Matt to friends as thoughtful, caring, detail-oriented, considerate, knowledgeable, experienced, and determined. Definitely the person you want at your side when purchasing a home.
