Ratings & Reviews
Maureen is everything you wish for in working with someone who knows the area street-for-street, understands the complexities of pricing in what is a unique market/region, and acts a staunch/thorough advocate for your interests and well-being. Buying/selling on the peninsula is not an easy endeavor, and Maureen doesn't sugar coat. If you approach her with eyes wide open, and with reasonable expectation, she will meet every standard for excellence in representation. A very strong recommendation.…More Less

04/01/2011 - renskebSold a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $850K in Pacific Grove, CA.
Maureen helped us buy a house in Pacific Grove in mid 2010. Her local insight and negotiating strategy got the deal done. We were most impressed by her communication with the seller. At each gate in the negotiation, she wrote the sellers a letter detailing where things stood, the pro's of our offer, and the market conditions for selling the house at a different price. The letter was thoughtful and professional and helped the sellers keep cool heads and, ultimately, accept our offer. In addition, she was excellent at maintaining the momentum of the deal, making sure it moved along at the right pace. She seems to have an internal clock that tells her what to do and when to do it. Her help continued after the sale, as she connected us with a contractor and property manager. Her contacts have been as good as she is. I recommend her without qualification.…More Less

03/31/2011 - KLPolingBought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $2.925M in Pacific Grove, CA.
Maureen has been our agent in the purchase of two homes on the Monterey Peninsula in 2008 and 2009. Her service was exceptional on both occasions. She is extremely knowledgeable about the real estate market on the Monterey Peninsula and is well acquainted with the various unique neighborhoods. Her patience in working with us until we narrowed in on what we really wanted was appreciated. She was thorough in regard to all her responsibilities and tenacious in looking out for our best interests. Her honesty, straight forward approach and sense of humor were refreshing.…More Less

About Maureen Mason
Add personality to your profile! Tell the community about yourself, your home, and your profession.
In my 21st year of real estate sales on the Monterey Peninsula. I work best with people who are analytical, love nature, appreciate candor and have a sense of humor.
Consistently amongst the top 1% of Coldwell Banker agents internationally, I am a confirmed workaholic.
I have a serious interest in studying the demographic shifts that affect home values here on the peninsula. I expect my clients to be active participants in all phases of the real estate purchase or sale. I'll provide numerous resources for your reference to aid in decision-making. I'm delighted to schedule and meet inspectors for you if you live out of the area.
I welcome the opportunity to meet with new buyers and sellers and discuss your specific real estate interests.
I also believe in sharing portions of my commissions with non-profit organizations. At the close of escrow I'll ask you to identify a non-profit to which you'd like me to donate between $500-$1000.
