Mike is the consummate professional: smart, knowledgeable, reliable, ethical, and he has more energy than most teenagers. I talked to three other realtors before choosing Mike.He was absolutely the right choice. When the original buyer of my property got cold feet, he immediately contacted others who had shown interest and got more a sale at than the asking price.
I then turned around and reinvested some of the proceeds in a rental property. Mike worked as my Buyer's rep, handled the negotiations, and got me a great place at a very good price.
He knows center city Philadelphia better than anyone, and if you need help with a property in another area of the city, he knows who to ask to get the inside scoop.
He calls back quickly, answers questions clearly, and has a staff of that insures ever detail gets handled promptly and smoothly. In the past I thought of real estate agents as used car salesman with higher price tags. Mike changed that perception almost over night. Give him a call; you will be surprised how fast he calls back. And no, he is not my brother in law.

As a successful realtor on Long Beach Island, I chose Mike to sell my house in Center City after interviewing three realtors. I chose the right guy. Responsive, smart, efficient, and adding value that realtors should add. From price guidance to keeping me up to speed on activity to my listing, the experience was what it should be. Realtors are often held in low regard due to simply taking a listing and putting the transaction on cruise afterwords. If you want a guy that works every detail and gets it done, call Mike. Listed in ealry October and sold in late November.

Sold a home in 2012.
In a nutshell Mike McCann is the best of the best. He provided white glove service to my husband and I from the first day we met him through the day he closed on our house. He was truthful about our list price, honest in his feedback through the process, great at negotiating...he even went to the closing so my husband and I didn't have to take off work! But my favorite thing about Mike is his communication style. He must go to sleep with his blackberry. He got back to all of our email questions within minutes. He gave us reassurance and comfort through his constant communication and we always knew we were in great hands. Thanks Mike!!

Mike arrived for our initial meeting with his homework done! He had a list of units sold, prices per sq. foot, and other comparisons from our building. He gave us a realistic idea of the price we could sell the unit for and the time frame it would take. Mike looked at the unit and made suggestions for staging, which were reasonable and well thought out. We followed his ideas and the unit did look more open and bright. We were delighted when the unit sold in a few days at a price we were pleased with. However, as good as this all was, Mike and his team of professionals made settlement stress free. I highly recommend Mike to anyone trying to sell in this difficult market.

Mike sold a high-end home for me after the housing market crashed. Where other Realtors failed, Mike used his extensive knowledge of the Philadelphia housing market to set the right price and to attract the right buyers. He worked tirelessly while always keeping me informed and addressing my concerns. I could reach him night or day with questions.
He then turned around and helped me buy a home near Rittenhouse Square with a different set of challenges no less daunting. From my viewpoint as a homeowner, the transactions seemed almost effortless, but I know better. They were effortless for me because of the immense effort Mike put into them.
Throughout the sale and purchase, one aspect about Mike impressed me as much as his knowledge and work ethic – his character. No more honest businessman exists. Mike grew up in South Philly, and he embodies the best that area offers: loyalty, candor and friendliness.

Sold a Condo home in 2011 for approximately $475K in Pennsport/Whitman/Queen, Philadelphia, PA.
I have moved many times over the years and have never had a realtor that was so "on top" of every detail about the sale of our home. Mike properly assessed the home, gave us a sales price range and advised on what needed to be done inside the home for best marketing. I contacted him many times with questions and the response time was most always within 5 minutes. Our house was only on the market for 10 days in this tough economy. I attribute this to the marketing skills of Mile McCann (and a little hard work by me!)

I have worked with Mike and his team for more than 10 years. He has helped me buy lots and shells and he sells the new houses that I build on them. I have experienced a lot of agents in my business and I rely exclusively on Mike for this and I would not consider using anyone else as the service he gives and the experience he brings is second to none.
Buying or selling a home can be a very stressful experience but I have always felt reassured with Mike in charge. His calm and efficient way of taking care of problems are legendary. On two occasions at settlements deal breaking problems surfaced but Mike was able to find the solutions. A less experienced agent would not have been able to close those deals.
He is a pleasure to work with. He will always return calls and emails quickly, even late at night! Mike is a powerhouse in the Philadelphia real estate business, he has an endless supply of energy, an intimate knowledge of the city and his many years of experience make him simply the best real estate agent in Philadelphia.

He has an excellent understanding of all of Center City real estate, and also has an excellent sense of the current market. He will offer an agressive but realistic suggestion for the initial asking price, but will always be open to the opinions and desires of his clients.
He provides advice on the staging of the home and what needs to be done to make the best presentation to the buyer while respecting financial and other practical constraints.
He employs various marketing strategies to bring traffic, and the seller is keep informed about every movement, good or bad.
Mike responsiveness is unparalleled. If you don’t get a call back in an hour at most, your phone is probably dead.
And at the end of the day, he knows how to close the deal and navigate throughout the settlement.
