As a third generation real estate agent, Mike credits his father and grandfather for his expertise in real estate purchasing and management, as well as his passion for helping buyers and sellers achieve their goals in the Wake County real estate market. Upon receiving his MBA, Mike began his career as a buyer, international contract negotiator, and account executive for IBM and Lexmark International. He also spent a significant amount of time as a mortgage loan officer where he acquired valuable knowledge of the financing side of real estate. Having studied many different real estate models and armed with years of experience under his belt at a national real estate company, Mike branched out with Town & Country Realty in 2000. We were extremely satisfied working with the Town & Country Realty Team. The team was very professional and provided valuable advice at every phase of our move. Sue Montpetit spent a lot of time with us on de-cluttering the house, providing valuable input and contacts for doing the work, and critiquing the work that we had done. Sue and her design team made sure that the house and the weather were perfect before the critical pictures were taken for the website, and the pictures spoke volumes. Mike Montpetit helped us throughout the showing phase, providing useful wisdom along the way, and he was able to interact with the other realtors on a professional level, answering all questions and concerns. An offer was made after the house was on the market for 19 days, and Mike helped close the deal in a timely fashion. Since we were not available for the closing, Mike acted on our behalf, representing us at the closing. He swiftly handled several issues that arose, and was able to close right on time, which was very important because the closing on our new house was the next day, and we needed everything to fall into place before we could close on our new house, and it did, thanks to Mike, Sue, Jennifer, Laurie, and the rest of the team.
