Michael Russell doesn't always follow through on his word. He'll commit to completing a task and not always do it. He returns about 50% of our phone calls/emails/texts, and when he actually does return a call, it is not prompt. His communication skills are extremely poor (when he does actually communicate). We are serious, preapproved buyers and he has made our home buying experience stressful, rather than exciting.

We were very pleased with Mike as an agent for us. In this tough selling market, we wanted a cutting edge agent who would could sell our house in the most effective way and for a fair price. Mike used several different new tactics that we believe made the difference in a successful sale including a high focus on web marketing strategies, realtor-only open houses, and little/no emphasis on tactics that worked 10 years ago but don't in this market today.

Michael is a great agent. He made the process of buying and selling our home very easy. The selling was difficult in this economy but Michael made good recommendations along the way and help us with navigating the showings and repairs.
The buying was very easy, he listened to our criteria and helped us to narrowed the choices. We also used zillow and his site extensively to search the available homes. We end up buying a house in a similar floor plan to Michael's personal home!

Sold a Single Family home in 2011 in Overland Park, KS.
Michael did excellent job selling my house. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I moved out the house 4 months before the house was sold, he helped me take care of the house while I was gone. Without his help, I would have to make many trips back to the city to do repair and maintenance work. I cannot thank him enough for his service. I’d recommend him to anyone.

I had a friend recommend Michael Russell to us. We wanted to sell... even though we knew the housing market was tough. Michael took the time to work with us and make sure we were taken care of. He went above and beyond to make sure our house sold and our move was easy. I would recommend him (and have) to anyone!

Michael helped my wife and I purchase our first home. He was very pateint with us and answered all of our questions. He was very responsive to what we wanted in a home and kept updating us on houses he thought we would be interested in until we found the perfect home.

Michael was very helpful in getting my home sold fast. I put the house up for sale on a Wednesday and had a good offer by that Friday. I attribute this to his marketing skills. He had a smooth process for an interested person viewing the home virtually and setting up appointments to view in person. Michael was very honest and open during the whole process. I resepected the real estate company he was working for as they did not play games as other high profile companies do. I would highly recommend him for selling your home.
