Michele became a licensed Realtor in February 1988. She started with a small city office called Staverosky Real Estate. In 1991 Michele moved to Berkshire Real Estate Network, which later became Berkshire GMAC. Over the next 13 years her real estate business grew to annual sales of $22 million and 150 units per year. In the late 1990's she partnered with Angelo Corrado Homes and developed an extensive understanding for marketing and selling new construction. Michele received national awards at the GMAC Real Estate Convention in 2001, 2002 & 2003.
In 2004 Michele moved to RE/MAX of Reading where she continued the same level of production until the market downturn in 2007. Michele retooled her business towards the sale of existing homes and relies on her customer base and direct referrals for 85% of her business.
Michele prides herself on her knowledge of the market, financing expertise, home styling abilities and attention to detail. Along with her assistant, who has been with her since 2002, they provide outstanding service.
From 1989 to present she has owned over 100 rental units and has flipped at least 30 properties.
Michele volunteered in July 2010 on the set of the reality TV show, Extreme Home Makeover, where she participated in the rebuild of the Urban family home. From 1990 to 2005 she participated in church mission work in Appalachia called The Appalachia Service Project. She traveled to that region with about 30 youth, split into teams, and worked on homes to make the homes warmer, safer and dryer.
Michele recently participated in Goodwill's Youth Mentoring program. She is a divorced mother of a teenage son and lives in Wyomissing since 2002.
